At the very least, There's No Place I'd Rather Be has a more Singapore-centric music video. And I'd take this melody over Shine for Singapore anyday.

It's true for me too. I lived in the States for 6-7 years and even got a green card but in the end I chose to come back to Singapore. I used to feel homesick just listening to Mavis Hee's "Chen Li De Yue Guang" even though it's not really about Singapore. Nowhere else felt like home. I never thought I would feel this way and now years after my return and despite all the things that drive me crazy about living in Singapore, I still rather be no place else but here.
