  • omg you decapitaded a mice and just saids oops and leve him in there

  • you dont happen to have a supper warrior ninja fire delux rat do you?

  • That tailess rat is darling :) It's called Manx if it's genetic, and she looks like it is with the more rounded rump. It's not a simple recessive, so very hard to get. If you manage to get a male like that I know a lot of breeders who would pay a lot for it. And yes, those ASF's are like fluffy chainsaws most of the time! Mine are nice though after 7 generations of breeding for temperament.

  • They are so cute. I buy snakes usually boa and corn snakes and cut them up to feed to my mice. You know balance out the karma in the world and all.

  • @ViolentKisses87 is that a joke cuttin up snakes?????

  • I made african soft furred rat that has really jet black ear.I don't know if thats normal then other breeders rats.

  • Like the vids keep them up:)

  • can u make a video on your water snake

  • I wish I could find someone that would ship live rodents. Only place here is Petco and they charge 3.79 per feeder mouse ugh. I've been trying to switch my snakes to frozen feeders, but zero luck

  • Hey i was curious how do u keep from getting bit from the snakes when u have the smell of mice and rats on u. Or do u just not mess with the snakes the day u are with the mice and rats?

  • @tsshields51 usually I just wash my hands, and I wont handle SUPER food motivated snakes like the anaconda after being in there.

  • you should breed to have no tails that would be so cool!

  • I wish I had I food source like that, then i can keep more snakes!

  • dont try what at home?

  • @1BenFoster reaching into a bin of soft furred rats. They have a reputation as "fluffy chainsaws" and will often tear your to shreds.

  • @HiImSteveDuh haha fluffy chainsaws

  • hammy the tailess rat is awesome lol

  • Haha i have a bunch of avatar rats!!! xD

  • Those orange mice are so sick! I need some of those guys. I'm finally starting to pop out multi colored piebald mice from scratch. The little things keep me going when nothing too exciting is going on in the snake room!

  • @YoungTierney Exactly! the oranges are some of my favorite too, so pretty. I had a lot more piebalds, but I had them all in one container to selectively breed them further, and the tub flooded! :O so I had to restart the pieds off of like 2 animals.

  • U want ti sell the tail less rat?

  • Also, with all the years Rats or Mice have been in the pet trade why hasn't someone perfected the two headed mouse and four assed Rat.... lol..

  • @TomMalloyBallPythons they are genetically incapable to survive

  • @reptileman24 I was half kidding, but I get what you're saying.. I just mean there should be a million types by now.

  • @TomMalloyBallPythons oh.... i feel stupid!

  • Great video. This is something I've always thought was cool. Unlike reptiles to can get such a fast turn around exploring rodents genetic traits. I always ask feeder people at reptile shows if they ever see cool traits pop up and if they try to breed it out, but they look at me like I have two heads. :).... I'd love to see a follow up video if anything new pops up.. Thanks.!

  • LOL! theres one dead at 0:39 thumbs up if you see it XD smh. So much for love....

  • @CBU2221990 I know, that was the one I accidently decapitated. They climb upsidedown on the mesh, and if I open the tub too fast..... opps.

  • @HiImSteveDuh Ouch....

  • @CBU2221990 Ya you could hear the squeal when it's head got crushed!

  • I loved when you opened the soft-fur tub and they all were in one clump and weren't moving just looked like they were scared shitless

  • hi steve i was ust wondering do you kill and store your rodents in a freezer and if so how do you go about killing them if you dont mind me asking im starting to get too many and needing a was of killing them quick and as painless as possible as i dont like feeding my royals live as im paranoid about them getting bit

  • @reptilemadman1994 I use the paintball canister CO2 method. Not exactly cheap in terms of set up cost, but its effective and fast.

  • Just a suggestion, maybe put something in the description about breeding snakes. I can see a lot of rat-lovers who search "pet rats" and then see your video. They would get pissed. I own both rats and snakes as real pets, and that is not how you keep a pet rat. I perfectly understand and agree with your methods for breeding them for snakes, but "pets"? Not really...

  • @bobajsdklfj231354111 Sorry, I uploaded this from my ipod with just a quick video title, it's not the perminant tittle of the video, because I thought the same thing you did.

  • now do you feed them to your snakes live? or do you even feed them to your snakes.

  • @eWayxVENOM Mostly I feed live, except to the bloods and adult carpets. Hathclings and balls get live.

  • Nice Video! Keep it up! Regards from germany
