UFC claimed my video was their video because I accused them of violating the RICO statute by fixing fights. I thought I was going to have to get a lawyer to get my video back on youtube. I was quite relieved to find out it's so easy to have your video's back on youtube. They cost me my ability to upload longer than 15 minute videos though. @clark2400 should play sound like 2mins after your submit your dispute, you might have to re-upload your vid or check your vid in the program you made it in and make sure the sound plays correctly there

If your video is not fair use, disputing that it is will not do anything in the long run, If it errs on the side of fair use you will have your audio back.

It seems if you lose 3 or more disputes youtube can/will suspend and/or delete account: account page, manage account, account status: copyright to view copyright strikes. (I have only one from the lost dispute with fox).

Blocked in some countries is a win, disabled video is a loss.

Also I had a Spanish Shakira music video I added subs to(in english and spanish). At first it was blocked everywhere except North America then later to everywhere.

I did not create the original video, and so never disputed, if I had in that case I would have lost.

Again may or may not be floating around as a torrent and on z-share:)
