Ever thought of standing still for a few seconds when you film. This is like one of my mums home movies from the 60's when it made the viewer sea sick watching it. Bluuuurp!
i was/is a fast jet pilot im 13 nd i now love ww1/2 lol i was there 2 weeks ago i made a vid of it lolage XD suxford flying legends my vids called duxfoed 2004
The museum is based at duxford airport which is no longer in use commercially. Out on the tarmac there are 4 or 5 airliners which people can go aboard to look at. Type in duxford to a search engine and you will see.
I think it quite eary when you walk down that isle its so quiet but at the same time its like youve steped back in time and your boarding the plane to fly some place, thats how i felt anyway.
Could there possibly be a more beautiful aircraft to ever ply the skies? Me thinks not... such a pity that they weren't more successful (thanks to BOAC)
Yes, they were great planes, thats why the RAF snapped them up after BOAC put them up for sale and turned them into a tanker plane to replace the victor.
These days of elegant travel are gone forever from us. What an graceful plane the BOAC VC 10 was. In 1964 I took my first flight on a BOAC VC 10 from POS to JFK/NYC. I have never forgotten that flight--it was magical even in coach class.
I felt in love to this video ! thanks. Roger

Wow, the first jet plane I flew in aged 3 and until they went out of service.
Do you not love the port(red) and starboard (green) decor. Indeed a graceful aircraft.
