I think the beginning scene of this episode did two important things (at least in my mind), one was to mark for sure this 1990's version of The Outer Limits as definitely different and possibly more unique and better than the 1960's version and also got us out of thinking of Richard Thomas as just as John Boy Walton.
Just too many ideas and moments in this episode that smacks of that awesome 80's movie, The Fly. After you watch that, you might be tempted to spit on this.
here in belgium TOL is greatly underrepresented. THeres the occasional reruns of the x files over and over and although i really like mulder & scully also TOL doesnt seem to be taken so seriously because of it's far fetched stories but thats what make them briliant to me.
I only really saw season 1 2 and 3 , and the rest i just have to search on internet because no one here will run them. (and they are only on dvd in french).
Wow this is classic stuff! People in these episodes still believing in God and all.....oh wait people still do? Damn I should have delayed this comment another 20 years.

I dont know which is worse, the writing or the acting.
MrKevMan 2 years ago 2
It's the writing man. Watch enough of these and see all the great well-known actors fail miserably and one can only conclude it's the writing.

And why would anyone take scientific advice from John Boy Walton?
