  • Saw them in Detroit on this tour 2009. THEY ROCKED HARD. Show was amazing as always, however, of the three guitar GODS on stage --PETER ruled!!! Steve's voice gets better each year as does Marty's. Someone get them on a national tour opening up for the Killers or someone who could shine a little litemon the band. THEY SHOULD BE HUGE. U2 sucks balls and these guys are a 1000% more talented then Moldplay!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Awesome opener. Just as good in Milwaukee! GO CHURCH!

  • Saw them in Ocean Grove March 09. How good???? Very!

  • Long(ER) live the Church!

  • The Church are aliving and kicking! Excellent version of an excellent song.

  • If they open with this when they hit Chicago. I'll go through the damn roof!!

  • LEGENDS!!!!!!!!!

  • Thanks for this post (and the others of the sydney gig). Seems like Steve's come out fighting after his 'episode' a few days earlier. Feels like a confession and a dawning of realisation rolled in to one. Watched this twice on separate days and got the old hairs standing up both times !!!

Life in the old dog yet!

  • what episode?

  • Whilst at home in March, Steve Kilbey had a seizure of sorts and was hospitalized. He wrote about it in his blog circa March 13 (and some posts after). One of the gigs on the Australian tour was cancelled, but the Factory gig was on March 15 and he managed to make it

  • What a great concert! I even bought heaps of merchandise to fight the recession!!!
