kids grow up so fast my son will be 21yrs on monday he is in the navy he just got back from Iraq i miss him and im glad he came home safe and sound

This song is so bittersweet for me. I have 3 children in their 20's and the "baby" is 15. While I am extremely proud of the people they are today, I really miss the babies that they were. It's funny that the things that used to drive me the craziest and now the things that I miss the most.

i was just saying, i miss being a little kid at least i miss it from 1 1/2 to 3 1/2 then i don't miss it.......my cousin died in a car accident when i was 3 1/2 and i miss her dearly, she was 9 and never got to live life or meet her lil sisters or even help babysit me when i was little, thats part of y i missed it, i just miss running around being cute and i miss my red hair, i look like a burnette now but them r little things i miss

I have 3 boys (11, 4 & 11 mos). Next week the 4 yr old will turn 5. 2 wks later the baby will turn 1yr, and the older will be 12 in dec. I remember the day they were born as if it was yesterday. To hear this son I cry everytime. I make sure They know how important they are to me everyday. They grow up so fast. It is really like a blink of an eye. Love your children and they will love you back.

yea i sent this song to my mom when i heard it. her and my step dad always joke about us kids moving out. so i sent this to her and said that even though we drive them nuts and we are loud but there will come a time when they want anything but qiet. i said you know mom i know its just suppost to be a joke but the day will come when we arent there to be loud. so why rush it. that time will come. its like getting older you will get to the age you want you cant get it back so dont rush it

This is an amazing song. It dialed into exactly how a felt when my oldest started highschool and my youngest started kindergarten the same day. I am pregnant with my first baby, my son! My brother and sisters have grown up and the youngest of six, is 17. We recently got a family portrait for my mom as a surprise mothers day gift...she cried! She loves all six of her grandbabies and is excited about her seventh! She see's them all everyday and always talks about how rich in life she is! Now, I understand.
