  • pope benedict xvi succesor of st peter on earth long live to pope benedict xvi

  • The pope is corrupt people, he is just a greedy old man. does any1 notice that this is on hitler's birthday? 420 is hitler's bday, Pope Benedict was a nazi by CHOICE.

  • The popes robing Jesus of his glory and there's no need for him. There's one high priest between man and God and that's Jesus Christ!!! Repent turn from sin and put your trust in him :) nothing religious about it

  • God blesses his people. Thanks for the good popes of our century. They have successfully feed the spiritual food to the soul of the faithful thru the grace of the holy spirit. Love not hate!

  • My God, the Pope is paranoid. What's next, the pope manning a machine gun turret behind the plexiglass pope mobile?

  • Long live the Pope.

  • AirMaria and RealCatholicTv websites.

  • Why is he so special? humans chose him, not God....

  • God chose him through the inspiration he gave to the humans that chose him, and also he suffers a great burden being the pope.

  • I was there! Mass was absolutely amazing It was so exciting.

you had some really nice seats we were up towards the top but we could still see so that was good :]

  • God Bless the pope! God Bless the holy Catholic Church! God Bless America!

  • worship...no my friend. LOVE.

  • Well said redheadfo847!

  • @redheadfo847 totally agree

  • Well it is the next best thing - Christ's Vicar on earth!!! "Tu es Petrus" Nazi youth was not optional so he cannot be held accountable so that claim is completely idiotic. ditto to redheadfo847: "LOVE" in caps, bold, and 72 point font. If you hate him for the attention he gets don't blame him. He refers to himself as the "servant of the servants of God" an incredibly humble and loving man you should read his encyclicals.

  • You have a point there I'm afraid. That he was once Hitler youth proves that he's a mortal who was forced to join this group because he was a German. To say he's second to God is not correct because he was appointed by men who elected him. However he is a shepherd, he rallies the masses and speaks of love and devotion to Jesus, and that is a wonderful thing!

  • he s human of course, so was jesus too...there was and will be only one jesus, there will only be one pope at a time leading billions of faithfuls in the catholic church and so is there is only one US incumbent US president..are they all too the same as we all are?

  • Man, you had a great seat for this one. I was stuck in the bleachers in right field...

  • I have no clue how seats were picked but I was lucky enough to be front row middle deck right where Benedict got out of the popemobile. It was an amazing experience!!!

  • And to think, they were worried he might not be as popular as John Paul the Great!

I saw him at Dunwoodie, the crowd of 25,000 electric!

  • I don't know if it is too early to judge, but JPII had a HUGE following. I know that he was greatly loved both in the States and in Mexico. But I think people loved him more in Mexico than they did in the States, I guess because there's a deeper connection through La Virgen De Guadalupe. That and he spoke spanish when he was there. To see JPII in Mexico was truly an experience outside of this world. He also gave a sold-out mass in Mexico's biggest stadium. which was also televised.

  • There were LOTS of Mexican semiarians at Dunwoodie, cheering his Spanish address. They are Legionaries of Christ, and their seminary is nearby.

  • Benedict XVI is still very early in his position as Pope. He may never be as popular as John Paul II, but he is very popular all the same. He's very conservative. John Paul II was flowing with charisma, and he served until the very end. Benedict XVI left a very positive impact on New York. I think he did very well on his first visit to the U.S.

  • And to think, they were worried he might not be as popular as John Paul the Great!

  • The man of the biggest crowds in this planet!

  • i wish i was there.
