  • 3 Bigboy Steamers in a row? Shit, you must be a lotto winner!

  • @CowsXonXcrack those are all not big boys the first engine is an Atlantic the second one is a Northern and the last one is a big boy

  • THIS IS KICKASS STEAM POWER!

  • exactly 80 cars, awesome video! keep them coming! ==]

  • the second loco, is that an FEF-2?

    I though i saw 826...

  • @FanRailer UP Northern

  • @aacuna09 Obviously =.=.......I wouldn't have said "FEF-2" if I didn't know what kind of locomotive that was or which railroad operated..........

  • that is what you call a scale fraight train

  • yep its a big boy. wouldn't it be called a "quadruple header" because the 4024 has double trucks?

  • AWESOME MAN!

  • Only in my dream!!!

  • Awesome video!

  • Awesome video,great fantastic!!!!!!!!!!! 5 stars!!!

  • That last loco definately has a 4 wheel trailing truck and probably is a BIG BOY

  • if you look at the number on the cab it looks like 4024

and the 4000 numbered series steam locmotives on the UP were big boys

and since the people that build these are useally sticklers for detail

i'm voting that its a big boy

  • It's number is 4026

  • it's a bigboy. Anybody who's seen a real one can tell it's a bigboy.

  • that is a big boy no doubt about that

  • dang that was awesome

  • Hot damn that is awesome!!

  • There were 78 cars I think

  • Fantastic video ! Cant believe it was sooooo long !!

  • The lead engine is a 4-4-2 SP Atlantic #3003, the second a 4-8-4 UP Northern #828, and the third is a 4-8-8-4 UP Big Boy #4026. Yes, it does have five safety valves on it. #3003 and #828 are both stored at our track, and #4026 used to be stored there as well.

  • acturly i cant be a big boy

they have 5 saftey valves on the right hand side i didnt see 5

  • acturly i think its a 2-8-8-2 not 4-8-8-4

though i might be wrong the perspective hard to tell

but that is one hell of a train be good to a multipul header of all the bigboys at 7 1/4-7.5 scale with one massive train and i know that there are 2 in britain at the moment one which i have driven

think of the length of that train

anyway amazing video be good to see a vid of the hole track behind a big boy

  • WTF, woah, that train kept going! lol

  • OMG! Three union pacific big boys!

  • No, only the third one was a big boy. the first engine's line is Southern Pacific and it looks like a 4-4-2, the second is a 4-8-4... looks kind of like an MT-73, and then the third is the 4-8-8-4 big boy. All beautiful locomotives!

  • I don't know who owns the Atlantic at the helm, but I know the owners of the two other engines. Dean Willhoby owns the 4-8-4 and Paul Hunter owns the 4-8-8-4.

  • Awesome! the big boy probably could have pulled that by itself.

  • God bless America...brought a tear to my eye. Simply superb, I loved seeing the Big Boy.

  • I counted 82. I'm probably off by a few... but still. That is the most cars I've ever seen on a small scale live steam train

  • Max I've seen is 20, that must be more the a million bucks of rolling stock alone!

  • thats one mother of a train!!!

  • a 4-4-2, 4-8-4, and a 4-8-8-4! Awesome

  • The guys in the video are having too much fun! Can you tell us more about the tripleheader? The last one looks like the Big Boy. How about the first and the second?

  • Just fabulous to see a triple header team effort. How steep were your grades? Was that all of the club's and members' rolling stock? A very nice video.

  • Train Mountain is a very large private railroad with about 13 actual miles of 7.5 inch gauge track. their site is trainmountain dot org, The link titled About TMRR gives a virtual tour as well as a track plan. Enjoy!
