Not read the book?Than the films great.Having read the book,like a lot of people,I felt quite cheated.The books long & they can't put everything in.However,they seemed to hv included more of the less important things & excluded the things that really made the book exceptional.Instead of 'cutting' scenes from a film because kids won't sit thru it,hve a directors cut (pref on DVD extras) which has everying that was originally left from the film!Even if its 6 hours!they make enough money to do it!

Was anybody disappointed that Harry didn't explode with anger at 12 grimmauld place or in dumbledore's office after sirius died.

A pal laughs @ me when i say Harry Potter runs on a "colonial theme".This is clearly shown in the last book where Albus writes a letter to Gellert.Many people who are familiar with the "dark history" of British colonialism will understand that letter and it's theme.The brit. Cecil Rhodes wrote a similar letter in his youth and it came back in the future, but for applauding not to haunt him as did Albus.He mentions "The Greater Good".I refuse to interprete these very magnificent books otherwise.
