@kwazimoto44 - Thanks for your input. It was one of the better routers I've had along with the Belkin N+, however why should I settle for a slow, intermittent wired connection and often unusable wireless when I'm paying £100.00 [$161.85] for a premium router?
I've had the Airport Extreme now for a few months and it's worked flawlessly, it's a world away from the cheaply made routers of today. :-/
@kwazimoto44 - It connects my MacBook at 450mb/s around most of the house, and ranges right out into the farthest point in my garden. It's not dropped a connection once and has not even required a reboot in months. Also, the gigabit ethernet is twice as fast for some reason. :P
@joeyrockstheworld - Yeah, I've had routers from Linksys, Netgear, Belkin, Apple and Thomson so far and the only two which work are the "free" Thompson one (which is slow as hell) and the Apple Airport Extreme. Which has worked flawlessly so far!
@slipknotr32 - I'm using it with my normal O2 Wireless Box at the minute with all of the wireless box's wireless features and firewall turned off. I plan on purchasing a DrayTek Vigor 120. :)
I have netgear WNR3500L and it works great for my computer's connection but is absolutely terrible for my online gaming =(

Apple ftw!!!! You won't regret getting an airport extreme. That is an amazing device. That sucks how the Netgear failed on you.
