  • Her voice is so beautiful. This song is perfect to fall asleep to!

  • so relaxing melody to listen!! sounds like heaven for ears!!

  • omg. that song makes me feel so happy =))))

  • A fan of Fairyland is a friend of mine! :)

  • Flora spinelli. Like an Angel.!!

  • Lyrics, please? :}

  • any1 know where i can find tour list for this band ?

  • i cant find this album arg.... i want it b/c i like some of the songs like lost in the darklands

  • What's the name of the girl who sings this? It's absolutely amazing.

  • Her name is Elisa Candelas Martin the vocal of ex-Dark Moor, ex-Ebony Ark, ex-Sabatan

    XD

  • By now, I've already found out and it's Flora Spinelli. XD Elisa has sort of a more harsh voice, which I adore and she's pretty much the ONLY female metal vocalist that I actually like.

  • Absolutely brilliant. I was pleasantly surprised with this closure when I popped in my album.

  • great act, rhapsody(no, of fire anymore) is also a great act, not much of a comparison though to be honest, for these are two very different sounds

  • You're a fool. Fairyland are brilliant at making music, and if you can honestly listen to the amazing array of synths, the amazing riffs, and brilliant vocals, and amazingly written epic songs and say it's one of the worst, then there really is something wrong with you.

I'd put Fairyland over Rhapsody of Fire any day, but that is a matter of opinion. The fact that Fairyland are great musicians (Well, musician now) cannot be overruled with a mere ignorant opinion.

  • Apparently you have not listened to Rhapsody of Fire. I have all of thier albums. I also have the Fairyland Album I mentioned. I also listen to orchastral and classical as well as symphonic metal and am familiar with both geners. Rhapsody is good enough to compared to great classical composers such as Bach, Betoveen and Mozart. There music is much more diverse than FairyLand and Fabio Lione has vocals good enough to sing opera. Fairyland's singer does not have that kind of vocal range.

  • I've listened to a lot of Rhapsody of Fire. It was enjoyable, but I much prefer Fairyland. Everything you said about who Rhapsody have been compared to etc. is totally irrelevant, it doesn't make me enjoy the music more at all.

Regardless of who you think is better, Fairyland are still great musicians. No one can quite do synth like Phil Giordana. And thats the only point I was trying to make, I never said Rhapsody weren't good musicians, I was just saying I prefer Fairylands music.

  • you do not have to have an expansive range to sing opera you do know that right? i sing it, and generally if you are in the possesion of knowladge on the subject people can expand their ranges to almost another full octave

  • That is not true. Take time to listen to some opera singers. You'll find that true Opera requires a wide vocal range, and and some strong lungs and a well trained voice. Watch PBS. They feature a lot of opera on there. You'll find your staments are incorrect.

  • I SING OPERA AND DO NOT HAVE AN EXPANSIVE RANGE! it is not completely nessicary to have one its a nice asset to have but not nessicary some of the greatest opera singers have a very small range but they do what they can very well

  • are you crazy ..well its your opinion.. of wars is soo mutch better over 9000 times better than this album .. this is not worthy of being called a fairyland album.. i

  • wait nvm i thought i was responding to the new album lololo soryy

  • damn it was great,.,.

  • whats this about an Osyrhian dictionary?

when does it come out? and exactly what is it?

    thanks

  • It could have been a regular Osyrhian gramar and vocabulary book, but it won't come on the bookshelves. In order to do so, I would need a bit of cash, and I don't have that right now...

    Sorry, next time maybe.

  • So beatiful

But guys,I think they are french

    I think

  • Yeah man they are, but language is Osyrhian. When the Osyrhian Dictionary hits the shelves, be sure to get it at every good book store!

  • quando un gruppo power metal decide di fare un pezzo lento ne vien fuori sempre un capolavoro

    grandi fairyland

  • This is greek, not italian. And well... for traduction.. I really don't know! But obviously, you don't need to know to love it I think.. Just beautiful

  • It's neither Greek nor Italian. It's...Osyrhian! I'm still working on the vocabulary for that language, but the grammar basis is almost complete :). Oh, and I can count to ten in Osyrhian :D

  • Would you specify your question with more details of its object to get satisfactory explanation in the answer?

  • "Ado shara imbesi derio

    Are dosi pariso dal'Arel

    Lio deren assa li mehena

    Ore del Osyrhia"

    this phrase

what's its original language (italian maybe) and what's the translation in english

  • Fairyland has fell but there are descendants of them among humans.

I am one of them, a man.

Lost wings by ancestry blend, but I still related by bloodline.

  • what language is this in? what does it mean?

  • can anyone tell me (in English),

    what do this mean?

    "Ado shara imbesi derio

    Are dosi pariso dal'Arel

    Lio deren assa li mehena

    Ore del Osyrhia"

    Thank you~

  • Aaaah I used to know it, Phil himself told me it on the old Fairyland forums, but they've since gone offline so I don't have it anymore...Sorry man!

  • "When Life was sweet and feelings weren't lost

When all was clear like dawn on Dal'Arel

The thought of you forever in my heart

    My sister of the Light"

  • @loklok1984 When life was sweet and feelings weren't lost

when all was clear like dawn on Dal'Arel

The thought of you forever in my heart

    My sister of the light

The english part is the translation from Osyrhian...

  • My favourite power/epic metal band is Fairyland. My favourite song by them is Of wars in osyhria.

  • Good choice, first Fairyland song I heard :D

  • Great band, although I do admit, I mostly just like the softer/mellower songs, such as In Duna, and Look Into Lost Years. There's not many metal bands that have softer stuff that appeals to me, which is one major reason why Fairyland is one of my favorites.

  • What's everyone's view on Magic Kingdom? I've read mixed reviews of them but not actually given them a listen...Should be interesting now that Phil's their keyboard player

  • and of course, try something from Galneryus ;)

  • you just mentioned like 7 from my top ten power metal bands, but I dont know maybe you shoud mention some less known, I dont know have you ever heard of Metal Church ?? Kotipelto, Helloween ? you should, you may like them

  • Melodious song...

  • Yea, this is more of symphonic metal right?

  • In all honesty Gamma Ray do nothing for me. Edguy are fun though

  • dude i listen to gamma ray somtimes and edguy and i am telling u fairyland is good none less then those 2... i can give u 10 great power metal bands right now and fairyland is not less good then anyone of them.. it's just diffrent . diffrent is good!!

  • Someone should put their song "Awakening" on here. The word 'epic' was made for Power Metal songs. FACT

  • fairyland music is the best of all power metal that ive heard.sonata arctica, lunatica is also the best

  • Agreed, Fairyland and Sonata own all the others \m/

  • then you never listend to Spellblast, Elvenking and Turisas. My top favorite ;)

  • Even the latest Elvenking? Come on ;) =p

  • Then try Angra

  • Angra are alright yeah.

I also recomend Vengeance in Black by Dragonheart, huge improvement over the band's older works :)

  • ;_;

  • It's beautiful <3
