Ok, thanks, I checked my 7D and it has been updated with the firmware. Man it's such an awesome! camera, I'm so glad i got it instead of the Nikon D7000. Not dissing Nikon cuz they're awesome cameras too!. The Canon just felt better in my hands.
What is firmware and do you need to update it. Just curious cuz I recently got a 7d and really like it. Plus is there a tutorial on using the 7d's picture DVD software from my kit. I've got the kit with the 15-85 lens. I've been out taking lots of pics as I am a beginner in photography and am learning as I go while watching some vids on YouTube.
@krazy4baja same here i just got a 7D, firmware is used to update your camera to the newest version which is recommended because Canon probably fixed many issues or bugs that were found before
