ahrue did not really fit in MH I do love him in Ill nino he fits there perfectly and phil is amazing look @ the awesome album they made with him :o cant wait for more
Logan was great on Burn My Eyes and The More Things Change, I don't care much for Ahrue though, I didn't like the Burning Red that much, even though Supercharger was a pretty good album. Phil is awesome though, TTAOE and The Blackening are awesome, can't wait for their new album! 2011 they are expecting!
supercharger no matter how badly it went down on release is for me a fukin quality album and Trephination is by far my fav song, the meaning and the way rob puts it down says it all, just a pity ive never seen it played live
No matter what people say about the album "Supercharger" i think its one of the best. Trephination should be awarded for the best text ever. This song has really something it wants to share we people all over the world and i think that all human beings can refer to a very shitty point in there life. I know i do, thats why i love this song. It really touches you. My favorit song simply.
its my favourite machine head song, but wtf are you talking about everyone can relate too it? its about the feelings you have after youre being raped at a young age, everyone hasnt been that..
nah not everybody has been raped, thats not what i mean. But u can have those feelings over something else that isnt very good. U can have a depression over other things to. u can have anger inside of u even if u have not been raped.
No. Most People can relate to it in a way, if they've had difficult points in their life. Like this song, The Deafening Silence etc. Most good bands write about a certain thing, but don't make it specific so you can interpret it how you choose too. Robb wrote it about his sexual abuse, but that isn't wha it means too others. (Not Rape, Sexual Abuse. He doesn't talk about it in detail, so no-one except him and the abuser (maybe friends and wife) know
and the thing - "at the age of five years old, I had my innocence taken from me"
We know Robb was sexually abused from other songs he's written. But it could be - for example - Having to look after a sick parent while the other works, and having to look after your sibling too. Childhood taken away and replaced by responsibilty - Childhood could be innocence. That's one of the many meanings to me. Although I wasn't 5.
Takes guts to talk about it, let alone perform live. Go Robb!
Supercharger got me through a very bad time in my life, especially The Deafening Silence. Had just been dumped by my gf and was working at a horrible job. I'm not even sure what his intentions were with that song, but it helped me out to sing along with that in my truck.
