I sent an item back to a seller who sent the wrong item+it was damaged.To get my refund I used recorded mail(a refund MINUS! my post that BTW is also unfair as it was not my fault+ rec mail is more expensive)Paypal said the number I provided is invalid so denied my refund, the seller kept my cash+got there item back AND I lost the extra in return rec delivery mail!Theres little or no flexability in there rules,a human touch would fix alot.& Ebay has the nerve to say most issues are comms based!

i purchased a copy of left 4 dead 2 on ebay and they sent me the wrong copy, so i sent it back and the sender is claiming to send me the correct copy, i'm not sure when that'll arrive.

I just sold a car stereo on ebay.. Packed it carefully even took photos.. Buyer says unit came damaged.. I filed claim for him, UPS denied claim ebay said too bad we will pull funds when you get the dmaged item back.. I appealed decision with ebay, they said no go refund due buyer.. UPS and EBAY need the attention of the FTC, and the states attorney generals for what they are doing... They need to be put out of business PERIOD !

I use Ebay in the US (don't think it matters what country you're in) and Ebay hasn't replied to my complaints of resolving a legitimate appeal to an unpaid item strike on my account when I did indeed pay for the item before the deadline. I was told I got the strike and could no longer purchase the item even though I sent the money. That was October 28th. Mind you, this auction ended at the end of September...it's December 7th and still getting auto-generated garbage from Ebay.

I have sold DVD/games on ebay and 3 times people have claimed I hadn't put the disc in the box when I had. First time I refunded because I thought it was my fault. 2nd time I recieved negative feedback and the guy made a claim give proof I won. 3rd time £27 now, the guy is stubborn and won his money back in a claim. His proof = 0. My proof = perfect feedback, royal mail tracking number, pictures of his profile on xbox OF HIM PLAYING THE GAME HE CLAIMED HADN'T ARRIVED, others saying he scammer.

Paypal is a joke. I can go on a website say I'm selling somthing I don't even have ( A videogame account or soon) and then get someone to send me money as a gift with a note saying they got there item and won't make a charge back. And I get the money and log off the site and walk away with $700+ in all about 3 hours of work. I know people who do this all the time and alway have $2000+ to there name at any given time. It's funny and sad at the same time.

The man in this video just claimed that PayPal protects your identity. Well, if you buy or sell, a full address is given, your first and last name, your phone number, and paypal has the ability to take money from your bank account and credit card without notice. All of those things pretty much ARE your identity.

Ebay really need to set up a call service. Their customer service is bad. The buyer is always favoured with Ebay and paypal. This causes many buyers to be dishonest. I'm not a seller but I've seen first hand how an honest seller can get duped by a dishonest buyer!

i have never heard of paypal giving any kind of money for a bad transaction. they are quick to take it away

@jamestheme123 The thing that sounds like a problem is when u have money in your paypal account My rule of thumb is i dont put any money into it and use my bank account when im buying thats the best way and the seller should make them make do bank deposit or bank transfer of the amount when selling...Thats my thought on this

I also suffered a loss of $400/ , did whatever i could but could not retreive my money just because the seller was not willing to provide the details, i told paypal that i have the confirmation mail sent to me thru ebay about he received his item but that wasnt enough for them to make me a refund

The paypal is full of excuses not give u a refund you will be shocked to see the mails they send you, they assure you for upto$3000/- but beleive me they wont even pay a penny.
