  • This scene would've been even awesomer if they somehow had the Doctor stay perfectly dry in the beginning, with all the water gushing AROUND him, and that he only got wet when he was climbing up that ladder with Donna.

  • Love the last shot of them both dripping wet, laughing hysterically with the Doctor's arms wrapped around Donna and her clutching his arm!! Absolutely priceless!! It makes me smile every time!!

  • The doctor looks so evil in this scene

  • bring out the tanks! :D

  • the itsy bitsy baby spiders never came out the whole again XD

  • That water from the Thames would be GROSS and they'd be absolutely freezing standing in the middle of the night high up and soaking wet

  • Lol awkward moment once doc and donna got up there at the end

  • At least Donna didn't miss this :L

  • Two timelords just saved the earth LOL

  • 2 timelords just saved the earth.

  • anyone else notice at 1:15 that they say order from mr saxson?!! :) I <3 this show!

  • the doctor just takes away her defences and then lets the U.S.S. army take her down. quite good tactic since the doctor doesent have any weapons, except the really awesome sonic screwdriver (whitch i named Paul).

  • @xPzychoz It's probably the British army, or torchwood...you know there are armys other then the U.S.S. one right?

  • @xPzychoz HOW CAN THE USS come to London so quick..... its possible Torchwood or the Brit army.... they have armies too u kno

  • he is so hot in the rain :)

  • The Doctor went to far. He killed her children and wiped out her species. Fucking evil bastard :(

  • @MEareCAT ya well she was tryn to wipe out humanity 4 absolutely no reason...................... i dont c why that is so bad then

  • @sandstorm2324 SHE was trying to wile out humanity, NOT her children. And if she did wipe out humanity, she'd be doing the Earth a hell of a big favour.

  • I miss Rose...

  • "Orders from Mr. Saxon: Fire at will!" Ohhh methinks the first mention of Harold Saxon...?

  • @gomarili fring at wil because he's scared of Arachneas because they were on Gallifrey like the Doctor said.

  • @welchburger 1st off its a racnoss, and 2nd I don't think the master is scared of them bcoz the empress sed that the timelords murdered them, so the ones that should be scared are the racnoss

  • @adamcbourke A) it took a lot of trouble to murder the racnoss, if the timelords were really that above them, then no one would've escaped. B) the Master doesn't have as many devices w/t him to fight them off C) That is obviously why BBC put that scene in, as an indication tht the Master was a timelord, and tht would be discovered later in the series D) He is a crazy lunatic who doesn't care what happens to any1 but himself, therefore something was gonna happen to him E) u win with 'racnoss' :)

  • That racknox thing is just plain annoyinng when she screams "my children"

  • @storkursyrra its a racnoss, get ur facts right

  • what a set that must have been...

  • If you listen at 1:18 it says "order from mr.saxon" aka the master

  • down came the rain and washed the spider out

  • Saxon is mentioned again. The Master in disguise isn't he?

  • @EnigmaNZ1 yeah correct.

  • The Doctor was doing some major venting :07 onwards. All his anger, his loneliness, his helplessness to protect and keep Rose, all vented out in a wordless scream as he scourges the earth of another threat. his face at :28 said it all.

  • @CrazyGood88 i agree and he looket so grive stuck of losing the one he treuly loved mind you rose was the irst he realy loved

  • @maiamkaia I know! and he had not had a proper time to grieve and accept that she was really truly gone. at that moment while the spider children were being flushed to their deaths He was major going through something.

  • And brought to an end...on the orders of a Galifreyan. "Orders from Mr. Saxon." Just brilliant.

  • omg at 1:15 he says "orders from mr.saxson " HARRY SAXSON .....THE MASTER i cant belive it!!!

  • The way Parish screams "my children" makes me think of the Wicked Witch of the West.

  • I don't know why, but the way the spider lady (I never quite heard her name clearly) moves her head around all the time reminds me of Sesame Street puppets. :p

  • "He's like fire, and ice, and rage. He's like the night and the storm and the heart of the sun. He's ancient and forever. He burns at the center of time and he can see the turn of the universe. And... he's wonderful."

  • nicely put, and u absuloutly right

  • @boneslash55 That was actually a quote.

  • ...humans are heartless i think. =SS i mean, like... nevermind some1 will down-rate my comment if i say.

  • not all...you got to think that humans will fight when something attacks them. we are jumpy no doubt and do stupid stuff. we fight over little things. but you got to think about the people that have changed the world for good. the small light in the dark. it only takes one person to fire up millions. like a tv show...like the doctor

  • @sonicspeedx13 Changed the world for good? LMFAO you must be fucking joking. Our species is destroying this beautiful planet, slaughtering it's inhabitants, blowing each other up in wars caused by our greed. Those small 'good things' are only done in a pathetic attempt to solve the problems we caused in the first place!

  • @MEareCAT

So humans are bastards who deserve to be wiped out?

  • wonder what happend to the tank shots that missed :P

  • lol i wonder.... (possible secnario) "honey i'm h- oof...dont remember that big crater right there...and where is the door?? oh well must be my wife remodeling...

  • 1:45 - Oh great. They better not mistake it for snow again.

  • And this scene is one of many examples of why The Doctor needs a companion around to keep him in line.

  • What the!!!! "Order of Mr. Saxon!" The Master was already there. I guess Master didn't want any other villain ruin his plan.

  • Nice catch.

  • there was mentions of mister saxon as far back as Love and monsters in series 2... they also mentioned in the sound of drums in s3, that he could only arrive at most back 18 months which is... just about around Christmas...

  • omg all that spider thing does in this episode is scream and hiss, doesn't half get annoying

  • Look, a giant toilet bowl!

  • so how did they manage to re-fill the River, surely all of that water would easily fit into the centre of the Earth and more, surely the whole oceans would basiclly drain into it?

  • The hole they drilled isn't nearly big enough to drain the Thames in 1,000 years :)

  • Heh, yeah, funny that Saxon reference... the two Timelords save the day.

  • Wait the army man Said order form Mr.Saxxon fire on target,Thats the Master Name when he Pretended to be a normal Human.

  • Poor Webstar....Thats going to be one hell of a mess to clean up.

  • WAIT!

That soldier in the tank said "orders from Mr. Saxon"

    Isn't Mr. Saxon the Master?

  • Yes. In series 3 there are a number of subtle hints involving Mr. Saxon.

  • yeah and i was going to vote for him, weird right?

  • oh yeah at this point the Master is the head of the ministry of diffence right? thats what he was before he became prime minister

  • I dun get it, the Doc never kills anyone

  • It's becasue he was grieving over Rose.

  • He didn't want to. He gave the Empress a choice. But she didn't take it. And the other choice is the earth.

The choice isn't always black and white. It is a choice of grey.

  • "No second chances. I'm that sort of a man."
