Check out players which are out of contract, you can get some pretty good players without transfer fee, but some of them are asking major wages.

But I have a question for anyone out there, is it better to put your own formation into play, or take the default squad one?

@SuperForzen Depends what team you are using. If you have fast wingers then probably a 4-5-1 , in my united team it works amazingly with nani and valencia on either side, and rooney up front who will always get on the end of crosses.

you should definately sign vaclav kadlec, scores loads, great target man, also another good young striker is Francisco Alcácer, 16, leave him in your under 18's then stick him in your reserves til hes 21, absolutely beast for me now, won the champions league with west ham and he was top scorer :)

Thanks for all that mate! Few tips: To speed up team selection, go to Selection, Ask to Pick and you can ask your assistant or a coach to pick the team for you. Try to send scouts out to different places to find players as well. To help with the vid quality, go to preferences and change the screen resolution- experiment with different ones to see what works. Change detail level from mixed in options to none.. this will speed up the game it's in the same bar down as save. Also game settings to have manage take control of options you don't want to do. Finally match preparation is highly important you need to select your tactics and then go onto the match preparation button. Increase the workload to maximum and select none as focus and select 3 individual tactics that you feel will work best for your team. (Won champions league 3rd season with Wigan)
