  • Billy Mays at the drums?

  • Oh great. Now my ass is on fire! Thanks a lot, Nuno! ;o)

  • brutal! XD

  • epic.... O_O

  • Maybe it just me...but this song just kicks ass! Under-rated and a really good band! Cherone should have never gone with VH, instead he should have led May and Taylor with the new Queen. That would have been perfect! I love Nuno's solo here...that's brilliant!

  • Grunge killed the Hard Rock Star... time killed Grunge... please cosmic energies of the universe: resurrect this AWESOME BAND!!

  • Awesome!!!

  • FODÁSTICO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • One of the best hard rock bands ever, and so fucking underrated !

  • under the reaction box ive found out that there isnt a "FUCKING AWESOME" reaction... :(

  • ne güzel bir şarkı kebab gibi

  • CHECK THIS youtube.com/watch?v=mLvPdQAav1o

  • Really?! Who dislikes this song or band?

  • It's sad when you see that the new genaration in Nuno's island don't know his work...

  • they are great but why they stole from hendrix?

  • ass hole its a tribute hendrix is pussy in front if nuno

  • @airborneavenger1 oh shut the fuck up dumbass nuno is great but he is nothing compare to hendrix

  • @airborneavenger1

Yeah dude... I honestly can't see how you're going to compare Hendrix and Nuno.

  • @iTsxEvolution UR RIGHT NUNO BLOWS HENDRIX AWAY!!!!!!!!

  • @frankk258 HENDRIX WAS AWSOME FOR HIS TIME GREAT!! BUT GUITARIST LIKE STEVE VAI AND NUNO BLOW HIM AWAY IVE SEEN THEM ALL LIVE !!!!!HENDRIX DOESNT EVEN COMPARE TO THESE BOYS!!!!!

  • @frankk258 Apart from the fact Hendrix was totally revolutionary and original and heavily influenced both guitarists... so what's you point exactly???

  • Nice "Drug Rug"

  • Rip. Job.

  • When I was about 19, I used to think I was awesome because I could play the guitar intro... ha ha... now, I think I suck..

  • 4:00 Hendrix much? LOVE IT !!! Sweet solo !!!

  • man this needs more views!

  • i like nunos mexican poncho outfit thing

  • @TheSonsofHorusx , lol at the poncho comment. it wasn't a poncho, it was a very common shirt style when this cd came out.

  • I love this song and the solo. I've listened to it and played it on guitar countless times now.

  • 4:03 "Voodoo Chile"

  • feels politicalamitous how today's tragicomediant producers stops the world making rise 'n shine the current artists in top charts. id send them all warheads and done: rest in peace. Our father god isnt dead and im sure he will not leave us alone becoz after all ... well cupid is dead coloring me blind and so peacemakers will die with him.

well, who cares if i am ever gonna change or not.

wow i tried too hard on this sht and i better sleep for seven sundays now #LOL

  • @KStealed I'm impressed. Well done.

  • @KStealed i caught all those refferences. KUDOS brother.

  • The band seemed to have run out of gas after Paul was replaced.

  • @Snapscape Paul wasn't replaced, ever since he chose to stop playing drums he's been working with the band behind the scene's, Manager like stuff.

  • @Thatoneguyfromwalmar Oh, I though I read in Hit Parader that they replaced Paul and that he worked with the band for a short time before moving to working with other bands. I liked his drumming. His beats were solid.

  • these guys it exactly right with this song, one of the best pure rock and roll songs ever, period.

  • @poollija09 Excuse me , why 4:40 is the best part of this song ? =)

  • The whole song is great.

  • I've been following Nuno since the first Extreme record! Together they are awesome, enough can't be said about Nuno's tone, choice of notes and technique!! I want to play like THAT when I grow up! LOL!! (Check out the DVD,he can also play awesome in a live setting).

  • I think they were on a low budget for the music video.

  • These guys freakin kill. Love their tunes and Nuno is just a beast.

  • i love thet song but u is the singer dencing like a gey with his ass?

  • extreme e muito estorado eles mandao muito

  • Eu amo Nuno!

    Extreme é tudo de bom!

  • nuno drives this song. love those bad ass guitarists

  • Nuno > VH

  • @MrDarinWarren you know what less than 2 months ago I would have disagreed with you. But I must say, he's a more well-rounded guitarist than Eddie. Higher melodic sense, better vibrato, phrasing, technical ability, and more versatile. The only thing Eddie has on him is a few riffs that are catchier and his slapping technique(which is insane if you haven't watched him do it live)

  • @codebabe I think EVH is a brilliant musician and I agree with what you say. Nuno doesn't limit himself to massive tapping which EVH is notorious for.

  • @MadLip78 Oh he's definitely brilliant, and Van Halens first six albums or so are really great. But yes, Nuno is a much more well rounded guitarist. And although he doesn't tap as much, he's actually in my opinion quite a bit better at it. His arpeggios are more exotic and complex.

  • 4:00 voodoo child ???

  • paul geary 's 90's drum kit hurts my eyes !!! lol !!

  • Voodoo Child at 4:00

  • what a master of the instrument, Nuno shows once again he is a true legend of the guitar in the song shown here. Love it.

  • The singer and bassist reminds me of Chris Broderick and Dave Mustaine by their look :)

  • Yeah, Nuno Bettencourt, one of the hottest rock guitar players EVER!

  • Muy buena rola, ahora entiendo por que Extreme se separaron! Siempre hay un antes y un despues de More than words. Despues es una completa basura comercial.

  • They could have been much more successful if they would have changed that image they had. People thought of them as another Poison, which was NOT true. But it was close enough to make people think that.

  • @boxcharles more like another Van Halen...which they have said themselves before

  • @guitargup Why have 1... when yuou can have 2? :D

  • @clangersrule lol....ok so there's an Extreme amount of Van Halen Poison in this music... ha ha

  • I used to date their soundman's daughter..... :) small world,... still never met them though

  • RHCP has been around since 1983

  • ONE OF THE MOST TALENTED AND UNDERATED BANDS OF ALL TIME. THIS IS ONE OF THEIR BEST SONGS. SEEN THEM LIVE SEVERAL TIMES AND THEY ARE GREAT LIVE AS WELL. SUCH AN UNDERAPPRECIATED BAND TRULY. SO MANY PEOPLE KNOW THEM AS JUST JUST MORE THAN WORDS BAND WHEN THEY ARE SO SO MUCH MORE THAN THAT. LOVE THEM

  • Who came first Extreme or Red Hot Chili Peppers?

  • @Hal2pointooh umm, pretty sure extreme, in 85

  • @TimelessFrequencies Looked it up on Wiki and RHCP started in 83! I don't think Extreme copied them though! Just sayin similarities are right there!

  • @Hal2pointooh red hot chili peppers are not EVEN in the same ballpark

  • @kimmysp1 Never said that! Just said they are SIMILAR!

  • @Hal2pointooh RHCP are not EVEN in the same ball park!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @kimmysp1 I don't believe you!

  • I agree with clcsinfl!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Good job, good tune....Nuno always HOT!

  • joder que tiempos, que pintas, jajajajja, vistete asi ahora ......

  • 4:00 Jimi Hendrix Influence =D

  • ....i remember the fence too....

  • ....gonna get me a pancho....

  • Great song. Brings back memories

  • @ApparitionOfficial TROLL ALERT!!!

  • Great song and guitar solo, but it's NUNO, so of course!

  • seizure...

  • Video killed the radio star

  • Love these guys. But I remember when I first saw this video when it first came out, I was thinking "wtf is this Berkeley hippie crap". lol

  • Great song. The video is about to make me have a seizure though, lol.

  • J'ai une N2 depuis près de 15 ans à cause ou grace à ce mec !!

    (Nuno est inégalable)

  • does anyone know if nuno is using the N4 Vintage, or the N2?

  • there were two music videos of this song?

  • a heavier Red Hot Chilly Peppers without the heroin )))

  • @TheCiubz definitely...they could have been even huger had they not braken up...considering that a lot of this music has come back nowdays

  • @wreyoG they put a new cd out a couple years ago and it was really good. and from what i hear they're working on a another one right now! They have a great DVD out of the tour from a couple years ago too.. it's excellent!

  • i guess ... hendrix should be proud ... i think ... I'm high !

  • jimi hendrix solo at 4:00

  • God that is one ugly lead singer yo!! Man I'm here for Nuno, where did they find their front man, the zoo?

  • I just LOVE how the solo pops in there with it's amazing melody! God, I used to rewind the tape over and over and over listening to the solo again, and again and again! Probably will move the slider back a few times too right now!

  • @MrZovar I'm with you man, this band's draw has everything to do with the arrangements and hooks. Nuno is probably one of the most unrecognized writers in way too many circles.

  • @MrZovar Hahahaha...Same here !!!.It had mark in that part of the cassette !! Nuno Berancourt, what an excellent guitarrist.

  • I'm learning to play the violin, and this is the first song I want to learn after school leasons end!!

  • I didn't know there was an "alternate" video clip for this GREAT song.

    Thanks for sharing ^_^

  • I say this is one of the most under rated bands ever! they R Great I love there work an I'm not a rock n roll fan....but great is great!

    well done!

big ups frm the downunder Dog

    Wylie J

  • okay, let's throw in some real info here, instead of opinions...how about the fact that this is an alternate version of the video because extreme "lifted" the concept from a Canadian short film and i recall got into some hot water because of it...still, both videos are great though...

  • SHUT UP WITH ALL THIS TODAYS ARTISTS OR ELSE I WILL FUCK YOUR EARS!!! IDIOTS!!! WHO CARES ABOUT THEM WHILE WATCHING THIS VIDEO?!

  • They are too underrated

  • so sad that wank-tastic guitarists like malmsteen have recieved so much more attention then nuno

  • EXTREME!!!!!!!!!!!! IT'S THE BEST!!!!

  • The solo is one of the best i´ve heard in my life, Nuno is great

  • Nuno is just so damn good. Mixes it up so fluidly.

  • 63 people will not rest in peace

  • They are known for More than words , and Hole hearted ...but their rock music was great ...and has lasting power

  • GREAT SONG!!

EXTREME ROCKS! i know that extreme isnt very famous D: but extreme is the best !!1

  • такого говна раньше не слышал и не видел , редкостный кал

  • Nuno was the man... still is, Rhianna or not...

  • awesome ass fukin band !!!! killa changes, even more experimintal than all the blues/rockers of the day! funk-o-metal!!!! totaly diffrent than the peppers!!!nuno iz mad insane!!! extreme fukin roxxxsss

  • @mechahead1 their experimental side is what I dug about them . They are sort of like Queen or Prince if you think about it. They dont stick to just one type of music, the different styles just go all over the place.

  • @56hehehehe56 Agreed, Extreme does come the closest to whatever genera Queen falls into...

  • this isnt from the 80s lol (sence the sarcasm? im laying it on pretty thick)

  • @vettefan73

No sarcasm necessary, you're totally right. It was released in late 1992.

  • Still great, MTV sucks since these days. Great message John gave us, through Jesus and then on and on,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

  • 4:40 and on is the best part of the song

  • GG!

  • If "Cock" Rock and Pop got together and "fucked"... Extreme would be the bastard offspring!

It's Effing Awesome though... don't get me wrong... Sheer enjoyment for 331 seconds!

  • SUPER MUSIC !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AND BAND!!!

  • The first song released off the album. Couldn't get enough of it when it came out. High rotate at my house.

  • nice intro ! ! !

  • Yay for epilectic attacks

  • @ItalianoConfuso We weren't so PC back them. We just thought the epileptics just really loved dancing oddly to this song. lol

  • qu bandasa

  • What a do?

  • remember the song, the lyrics. What a statement!

  • Damn, whyd they have to make that one slow pop song?Such a great band

  • They have the sickest intros ever, Im never into there music though. Love nano's guitar playing though its bad ass, sorry just the bands music is not my type haha.

  • The perfect song :D

  • God i miss the old days.

  • Great song. Did anyone notice that the roman numerals III on the bass drum kept changing from vertical to horizontal and back.

  • @triskelion86 I agree 100% with you man! I remember when Extreme first start gaining popularity, they really stood out against most of the late 80s/early 90s hard rock bands because they were amazing songwriters too. But Nuno was an amazingly well-rounded guitar player too - his rhythm playing was interesting too, not just the solos. Please check out my cover version... I found a drum/bass backing track and had some vocalists add to it too. Rock on!

  • Nuno is the best!!!!

  • we did cover this song and won in a competition..great song nice solo..

  • Awesome clothes^^

  • why do nuno's jeans change color beetween black and (jean-)blue??

  • @TheJumpInTheFire Because they had to re-make the video due to copyright infringement. The original video shows two neighbors fighting over a TV.

  • @Ratabulous Thanks for the answer!

  • What a pleasure to find this. Woke up this morning and suddenly remembered Nuno's last name, found the Extreme stuff, and bingo! What an awesome album "III" was for me at the time. It's good when near every tune on that album said something of importance for that day.

  • @rfcdaza313rfc Anyone with taste.

  • Extreme Shit!

  • @mankalabeat who led u here? get a life, idiot

  • @mankalabeat Listen to L gaga or the Gay Kid!

  • I wish they would have had better lyrical content. Musically, they are all amazing. I think that Bettencourt's solo in this song is one of my favorites of any song (even though I don't think it doesn't fit in with the rest of the song or its theme). It seems like if they would have tweaked a few elements of their style, they could have been huge. Then again..they love their music, and so that's all that matters.

  • @jimmyjacksn Actually, I think what made Extreme III not well-received was the rather deep lyrical content. Pornograffiti had a few strong messages here and there, but III Sides to Every Story was much deeper and more controversial in the lyrics.

  • that is bull shit

  • what the fuck just raped my eyes..?

  • @karkkiliininam It's true this video is not up to the standards of current "artists" like Lady GaGa, Rhianna, Shakira, Britney, Alecia Keys and all the other glamour-puss posers out there. Over 20 years ago videos were secondary to the music. These guys are real musicians singing and playing real crunch guitar rock here. If you think their goofy video diminishes their music, then stick with all those one name divas where all the artistic talent is in their make-up crews and video editors.

  • @srsomario

Although you are correct in that the video is not as important as the energy and soul of the musicians, and I agree 100 percent that anyone who thinks the video diminishes the music is an idiot, (Unless we're talking "seperate ways" XD ) I am both a Gaga, Shakira, and Extreme fan. Not ALL the artistic talent is with the editors, especially with the artists I just mentioned. We can't reverse discriminate and say overproduced/really intense videos = poor musicianship.

  • @srsomario this video is rocks, and so does the band. but...they're from the nineties...

  • @srsomario This is the first time Gary Cherone rocked straight hair. Go the hairdressers.

  • @srsomario Right on, dude.

  • @srsomario couldn't have said it better: if an artist puts more thought into their video then their music, then they don't have the right to call themselves musicians.

  • @srsomario It's kinda ironic that Nuno is actually playing with Rihanna nowadays in live shows, when I heard that i felt so "sad" lol. Cheers mates

  • @Radenc Hey, I guess musicians have to go where the work is! Maybe I'll have to cut Rihanna a little slack for at least picking a kick-ass guitarist (I still hate her music however).

  • @srsomario Yeah guess so, looking at it "workwise" it is a great job i guess, but looking at it "fanboy wise" (ahah) it's weird, that's the correct word for it. Cheers ;)

  • @Radenc Luckily when he isn't trying to pay the bills Extreme is still recording and touring

  • @srsomario

GET OUT OF MY HEAD!!! LOL!!!

  • @srsomario You are my hero. Thank you for getting that out there. I <3 u for saying that

  • @srsomario Ye haw...don't forget all of their back up dancers..with whom...they wouldn't be shit! Right?

I am amazed at the garbage that passes for talent...WTF are people thinking?

Extreme was, is and will always be incredible! I surely miss them...

  • @srsomario It's funny that you would mention Rhianna. The guitarist she has touring with her is the same guitarist in this video. That's right, she's touring with the amazing Nuno Bettencourt!

  • @UV7 Well I guess I'll have to at least give her props for good taste in guitarists! And although I still think her music sucks, I don't believe that these diva posers are without talent. It's just that their talent is in make-up and video production and in being outrageous. I actually enjoy some of their video productions and their over the top style but their music still sucks and will be quicky forgotten.

  • @srsomario One could but wish... Remember Madonna is in the RRHoF, but The Runaways, where she obviously stole her "style" are not... And will probably only ever be represented by Joan Jett as the lead of the Blackhearts... Even though Lita Ford also came out of that band

  • @srsomario Hey now, Lady GaGa used to play a mean lead guitar back in her days with Slayer. Let's not forget that

  • @cvg1099 You had me going for a minute on that one! I had to check it out... pretty amusing.

  • @srsomario don't sweat karkkiliininam...I looked at their page...what they call thinking..back home we call it cole slaw...

  • @srsomario I'm sure there's another version with a white picket fence? That's the one I remember as a kid.

  • @srsomario its obvious you know what your taliking about. keep rockin my musically inclined friend.

  • Love this solo. Nuno plays so clean its a pleasure to hear it. One of the best ever. If Extreme had hit the scene 5 yrs earlier Nuno would be known the world over.
