I used to be more of a West Coast Swing purist, but with time away, I can appreciate this and what this couple had to do to dance this routine. I like the music - very appropriate for West Coast Swing.Nowadays, the rules are there to be broken and people dance West Coast to a lot of music that wasn't considered West Coast Swing.That's the way it is with fanatics of a particular dance. I've seen Argentine Tango dancers dance tango to just about anything. Same with Texas 2-step.

About the only cardinal sin is that the follower 's movement is not that of the contemporary WCS style. Other than that, the movements are down a track and Richard's patterns are pretty much what I see on the social floor regularly.

This couple should be featured on Dancing with the Stars !!! They are so insinct with each other. He compliments her and she is very expressive with her movements. Very nice. She accentuates every move. Beautiful ! I like the way she kicks the dice at the beginning.

it's not very smooth. the dancing doesn't seem to match the music and the couple doesn't look like the match each other, in dancing style. they don't look like they've been dancing together very long.

Nice dancing. What's missing: follow through, energy, shaping. Also, do foxtrot to a foxtrot and west coast to a west coast, not west coast to a foxtrot. Great song, would be wonderful if the dance were matched to the music.
