I'd prefer they never say specifically what the gender (or what for that matter) the pyro is. Little hints like the Director's Vision taunt (the pyro has a very girly one and masculine one) are the best; they provide confirmation to some degree but are also countered by other actions the pyro does. The mystery is what makes the Pyro such an interesting character and hopefully they don't blow it in Meet the Pyro.

Just a few seconds of Pyro, talking to the camera with muffled speech and expressive gestures when eventually people off camera confirm to each other that neither of them understand a word and decide to go interview the Medic. Then that Team Fortress 2 group photo with the sound of Pyro incinerating the cameraman and interviewer. Sadly, it didn't happen...
