Although I'm against illegal immigration, I'm sorry but I don't think we'll ever get to stop or slow down this mess leading me to believe that it will be beneficial long-term to have Canada, the US, and Mexico form the North American Union, like the EU, African Union, South American Union, and Gulf Cooperation Council. Think about this logic, the border between Mexico and the United States is nearly 2,000 miles long. There will never be enough fencing and boarder patrol to keep everybody back. So, with that being said, this has to come to some sort of an understanding. The Mexicans aren't leaving, and by all means, they shouldn't, considering that that part of the United States was their homeland up until the 1840's. Make them legal citizens, and the country saves face.

See, a lot of them raise families over in America, and although they're not legal citizens, their children are, so when they're deported, their children are sent into social services. The only thing that I know about the subject is that there is 27,000 miles of border across the entire United States. It would be literally impossible to have closed borders.

There's nearly 2,000 miles of border between the United States and Mexico, nearly 6,000 miles of border between the United States and Canada, and nearly 19,000 miles of coastal borders. If there was a plan to close the borders, they'd need somewhere around 27,000 miles of fencing/walls. Do you realize how much that would cost and how long that would take to build? Send all the illegal Mexicans back to Mexico, and watch that part of the United States collapse like the south after the Civil War. The Mexicans come here to work. You should be worried about the illegal Canadians, because they're the ones stealing your money. They come here to avoid taxes, not to work. The solution is to open the borders and allow anybody who wants to be in America, to become a legal citizen. Besides, the land around Mexico, such as California and Texas, used to be Mexico.

Think about this logic, the border between Mexico and the United States is nearly 2,000 miles long. There will never be enough fencing and boarder patrol to keep everybody back. So, with that being said, this has to come to some sort of an understanding. The Mexicans aren't leaving, and by all means, they shouldn't, considering that that part of the United States was their homeland up until the 1840's. Make them legal citizens, and the country saves face.

In order to reduce the number, they'd have to become legal citizens. It's not fair. See, a lot of them raise families over in America, and although they're not legal citizens, their children are, so when they're deported, their children are sent into social services. That's cruel to the parents and the children. Now the ones who murder people, and all that nice stuff, should be made legal citizens once caught, and put on trial as such. That makes sense to me.

I don't know much about illegal immigration, because where I live, it doesn't effect anybody. My argument was, originally, in response to somebody, who mentioned closed borders. The only thing that I know about the subject is that there is 27,000 miles of border across the entire United States. It would be literally impossible to have closed borders.
