  • I feel bad for her, but the way she talks to him... it's almost like she wants it. Why else would she say "You're an animal... You're rock bottom" etc. I mean if she really thinks this, then why would she go with him? I guess she learned a lesson. The girl in the sequel got it much worse. But, yeah, that version was kind of over-the-top.

  • This film is old when you see kojak still got his hair

  • the first woman to deny Kojak anything

  • no one deserves to get raped...but i mean werent they gonna do it anyway?

  • this chick is just layin on the compliments "its a comfort to know u cant sink any lower"

  • damn she's bad...

  • Wow Telly Savalas... with hair!

  • What did she say in 8:10?

  • @osamabad -protect myself

  • @osamabad i think she said "okay ley me zip up" :)

  • 'lewd vagrancy' ha ha, laws really were different back then

  • That rape scene was terrifying. We didn't even have to see what happened to her; it was obvious enough without having it spelled out for us. Just goes to show that old horrors and thrillers could be frightening without losing one ounce of subtlety, as opposed to the gore fests of today.

  • @WolfQueene oh yeah terrifying I was trembling. Believe this was a great movie but lets not call it terrifying. It wasn't even a scene really.

  • @WolfQueene,

Yeah horror has become nothing but films just to exploit gore. They have become the joke of Tinseltown.

  • @WolfQueene i agree with you

  • One of the most terrifying thrillers in history, and far superior to Scorcese's dysfunctional remake. Regarding this segment, gorgeous Barrie Chase was, of course, a superb dancer, but seeing her work here, it's a pity that she didn't act more often. She's flawless, and her body language expresses what Max Cady (Mitchum) did to her, without us having to see the gory details.

  • @edwardjames50 In what way is Scorsese's remake "dysfunctional"? I personally think it's a bit better than the original.

  • @spxelim

Yeah, the remake was actually really really good. Some scenes were actually more real and believable than the original. One of the greatest movie remakes of all time.
