  • Tenia años que no oia esto pero me llega un extraño sentimiento... ahora que veo la letra entiendo porque. Que tonto puedo ser pero como dice esta cancion: el Sol en tus ojos hizo que creyera todas tus mentiras.

  • Open 2 windows on your computer. This song/video on one of them and the other one rainymood(dot)com. They go quite well together.

  • Dara Rolins Eye In Sky is better

  • Song sounds like it's about 2 people in relationship. Could be lovers, could be good friends. could be family. The singer is tired of beliving the lies this person tells. after so long of trying to help or believe this person. He's not going to be taken for a fool anymore. and he's not gonna let the other person paint him as the bad person for standing up.

  • Alot of people associate this song with the Chicago Bulls as they used it for their intro but long before that Ricky The Dragon Steamboat used to come down to the ring to it

  • Anybody notice how many songs are about STALKERS ?

  • LOL!.....J

  • and now the line up for the chicago bulls...!!!

  • it's increddelble music and is so nice to hear you can sink in a coma forever!!!!!

  • when i was a kid,my dad alway's listen to this music, it's just great

  • I got that info about Eric Woolfson (vocalist of this song) from Wiki.

  • genebh

Eric Woolfson is the vocalist. Woolfson would sing a guide vocal track for each song, which the album's eventual lead vocalists would use as a reference. Some of these tracks can be heard on the new remastered editions of various Project albums released in 2007. Woolfson himself was the actual singer on many of the Project's biggest hits, such as "Time", "Don't Answer Me", "Prime Time" and the band's signature tune "Eye in the Sky", which peaked at #3 on the Hot 100 on 16-30 October 1982.

  • this is great stuff in the same vein as moody blues/pink floyd. Who IS the vocalist?

  • i heard this song in the early 1980s. i didn't know the name of this song or who sang this song. thanks youtube for telling me the name of the song and the name of the person.

  • @shri081 You could have been. Are you with the begining or the end. Did you fall for the sungod. Or did you over come it. Glory is the lord of Host. For who can set beside him. Many are still blind in the new book's. Psalm 104v 29-32 kjv For one have said before, of what you said. Glory is the maker of it all.

  • Immortal Technique brought me here!

  • All of their album covers are very prolific considering the times we are NOW living in. Very Very Trippy!

  • I LOVE Alan Parsons Project. This would be a good video for "Time".

  • so nice! love it!

  • I like that sun with clouds.

  • @dragonbrave8 What is a sun, without water. For they would all dry up. And not know what made the rain. So don't prase the sun, like a dragon. But what made it all. For then you are free. For it is that eacy. For some one as dumb as i am know's that lol. Good day my friend. For it is a nice song. For we do see in the eye's of it. And what made it all.

  • I was in 6th grade in an elementary school at the edge of Tigard Oregon, Durham elementary, the music teacher, a gorgeous young (23-27) blond woman with long curly hair. She would sing this song on the piano and I guess we would sing along. Damn she was so beautiful, what a crush. However, I can't remember her name, but remember how she looked like I saw her yesterday.

  • RICORDI DEI BEI TEMPI CON AMORI E DELUSIONI.

  • Comment removed

  • bellissima bei tempi e bei ricordi con l?unico amore della mia vita ti ho amato è ti amerò x SEMPRE!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • This shit reminds me of Pink floyd for sum reason lol

  • @xrustynailsx Alan Parsons produced Dark Side of the Moon for Pink Floyd.

  • @LodovicoAriosto1

    No shit?

  • @xrustynailsx Alan Parsons was a producer of Dark Side of the Moon, yes. Pink Floyd also stated that Alan's contribution was "important". That is probably why the sound of the album is similar to APP.

  • Timeless classic... Don't talk, just listen!!

  • "(Eye in the sky song) - Ladies aaaaaand gentlemen, heeeeereee are your Oklahoma City Blaaaaaaazers"

  • @letsgobarons finally someone else who attributes this song to an NBA team OTHER than the chicago bulls lol

seems like half the teams in the NBA used this song at one point...yet its always the bulls that get referenced

  • Brings me back to that era cool..thanks for the up.

  • Lady Antebellum ripped this off and just won a Grammy............

  • @razormouth45 OMG! I thought the exact same thing. I was listening to Lady Antebellum's version and thinking, gah, this song sounds familiar!

  • the point is that we don't know where we are from. us earthlings. someone or somethings taught us how to saddle this planet. Greater than Me! Horten hears a hoot; Dr. Speck. Boil that dust peck! but see how we are a speck of dust on this planet? in a solar system? in the milky-way galaxy? countless galaxies?

  • introducing from your chicago bulls from north carolina number 23 michel jordan

  • pretty sure this song is called "Sirius" unless I'm missing something

  • @relld05 In my opinion, the way the album was laid out, with the two songs running into each other and no break in between, makes this the "full version" of Eye in the Sky. When I refer to "Sirius" by APP I refer to only the instrumental prelude track. Many Youtube videos refer to them as "Sirius + Eye In The Sky", but when XM Radio plays "Eye In The Sky" they always play the combination. Old radio didn't always have time for a 6:30 song so they just played EITS w/o Sirus.

  • Woke up with this tune in my head and spent 20 minutes looking for it thinking it was a latter-day Moody Blues tune.

  • undergrads. nuff said.

  • good song!!!!

  • wonderfull !!

  • demasiado bueno! saludos desde Argentina.

  • Wonderfully Beautiful !

  • One of the best video of 'Eye in the sky' !!!

  • Espectacular!!!!!!

  • Just one word : WONDERFUL !

  • soooo deep . and brings childhood memories back

  • This is no eye in the sky......

    this is sirius

  • Your Chigao bulls!

  • Good old tune yes sir its been some gd time now!

  • Man I forgot how good this song is, damn so many years

  • I would not be surprised if Lady Antewhoeverthefucksheis ripped a quality song like this off.

  • @edctgbujm123 great line

  • 2 chords are similar to need you now. haha really not the same

  • The sun in your eyes makes some of your lies worth believing.

  • i think everyone just has to remember not is ever original in the world, theres someone always out there with the same idea or same concept oyu had. We have over 3 million years on this planet, do you actually think that anything is ever gonna be original. Its not,its very hard to come across something that noone has made yet

  • It's not a rip off. What it comes down down to, in my opinion, is that a lot of music sounds similar to each other- across many genres. But the reason they sound similar is because there are certain pitch and chord progressions that always sound nice.

  • It doesnt matter if the beat is slower or the song is in a different key. After the intro to the song the chord changes and melody become too similar to ignore. It wouldnt have become news if the similarities weren't so obvious (but than again I'm a music theory expert)

  • It doesnt matter if the beat is slower or the song is in a different key. After the intro to the song the chord changes and melody become too similar to ignore. It wouldnt have become news if the similarities weren't so obvious (but than again I'm a music theory expert) I personally do not care foe Lady A or Alan Parsons Project but this is Just like the whole Lady Gaga Just Dance vs Jason Derullo In My head. WAY TOO SIMILAR

  • i can hear a bit of a similarity, but it's not that close to need you now

  • only the chorus is similar

  • AND STARTING AT SHOOTING GUARD, FROM NORTH CAROLINA, MICHAEL JORDAN!!

  • The country song is in a similar key but at less beats per minute. I have never heard this song. There are other 80's songs that sound similar to that country song also. The 70's and 80's are obviously their influences for pop country.

  • people really?? not a change! not even similar

  • Who ever said that need you now is a rip off of this is SERIOUSLY Disturbed!!! This song SUCKS!!!!! Lady A is WAY better!

  • @shortshyt2010, You're stupid. She ripped off every band in the book. Same with most country music.

  • @shortshyt2010 You're probably retarded.

  • they have different cords theres no copyright brech getover it people it doesnt even sound the same only in some rythem.

  • @lilcat32000

    Speak english much?

  • @NathanCMusicz

what does that mean so i spelled i few words wrong and your calling me out on it tells how much time you really have to spare on here LMAO. and for your info i can speak another language to. DUPA. je adore lady antebellum.

  • LMAO, Theres no way way this sounds the same!! period !!!!!!!

  • it's the music, not the words. The music is almost exactly the same. Someone really liked the hook. LOL

  • people are saying that Skillet's song, "Monster" sounds like one of 3 Doors Down's songs...can't remember which one though....

  • wtf are people on.. how is this anything like 'need you now'

  • The music sounds a little similair but that happens with a lot of songs, theres only so many types of sounds, someones bound to repeat in some way. Lady Antibellum song and this song do not compare at all. So whoever says they do oviously does not know music.

  • @movie1o1 i dont really see how the music sounds the same but you are right it does not sound anything like lady antiibellum

  • @movie1o1 Exactly.

  • I agree, after hearing this the ONLY slight thing I hear is the beat very slightly. I mean come on after how many thousands of songs made , how many more different beats or lyrics can we come up with ? If you ask me music will come to an end one day all together. Were already hearing so many songs sounding the same

  • There are thousands of songs with similar hooks... these 2 songs are not even close to the same.... seriously

  • @greenrockmarketing agreed.

  • Ridiculous to even say that Lady Antibellum ripped anything off...Idiotic people with nothing better to do. its a quarter after 1 im a little drunk and I can cheat you blind.....

Seriously... a small similarity but not enough to make it close to plageurism

  • the argument is the music was plagarized not the song. the sole reason that LA achieved their fame was because of the hooks they utilized in their song. APP deserve their fair share. I understand some 'artists' borrow from the rest but at least they credit them or its not as overt as in this case. i wonder if they'll rob another 80's song discreetly to resucitate their one hit wonder career.

  • @hippy26ish Lady A did not steal anything. Lady A are not the kind of artist to rip people off unlike Black Eyed Peas or Coldplay who did rip people off. Hillary grew up in the music industry and I dobut she would ever rip people off. There are some similarties but these 2 songs are competely different. In music it is possible to use the same chords that are used in other songs and not doing it on purpose.

  • @carolinagirl009 i, as well as others, stand that they aped the song.

perhaps you failed to notice how i posted that the music itself was being questioned, not the song.clearly, the songs are two very distinctive. plus, i also wrote that i completely understand the recycling process involved in the music

industry, either by accident or to make an effort to resemble it.

now, if you stil disagree, (to which im sure you will), then lets agree to disagree.

  • NO ripoff done here....similarities......but the songs are very different

  • Not even remotely close??????

  • It starts at 1:50...the stuff L A stole

  • @m1kekusy clean out your ears.........

  • @m1kekusy they didn't steal anything/

  • i hear the similarites

  • It starts at 1:50

  • no similarities wut so ever

  • Let's Go Huskers!!!

  • follow me on twatter :P @nickkryan

  • follow me on twitter! @nickkryan

  • Nah.. Nobody want's ripping off for they know that ripping will make them look bad. Maybe it's just their inspiration that made their hit song "I Need You Now"

  • yeah i just read that on yahoo, and there some similarities but nothing major, they can use people like this for inspiration but i highly doubt they ripped the song

  • @IDKIDKABC i dont hear any similarities. what are they saying they are?

  • @brieBETCH on yahoo they were saying that Lady Antebellum's Need You Now was ripped off from this song.

  • @IDKIDKABC yeah i saw that and i watched that video that went with it. but i dont hear anything. there are alot of songs that sound alike, doesnt mean they ripped them.

  • good ass song no relation to lady antebellums song more media bullshit

  • good ass song no relation to lady antebellums song

  • good ass song no relation to lady antebellums song

  • yeah the sound is similar to "Need you now" but thats about it.

  • no way Lady Antebellum ripped it off. Thumbs up for the Lady Antebellum fans!!!

  • idk y its a big deal if it sounds like "need you know" thats what music is about

  • It actually does sound allot like need you now......

  • I Just watched both songs through the mixer and there are a lot of similarities in the hook, not so much in the rest of the song. just remove the vocals on either song and the hook is the same, to say otherwise is foolish and means your not actually Listening to the songs.

  • Yahoo sent me here!

  • There is ZERO connection to "Need You Know". I can't believe I just sat through 6:31 of this awful song.

  • @badfish2829 I agree...

  • @badfish2829 haha i agree. just saw some article on yahoo about this. no relation whatsoever.

  • i don't hear any connection to lady A

  • You did an awesome job on this video. i like your vision,

  • WOW! A GOOD ONE! ONE GOOD VIDEO!!!

  • Lady Antebellum ripped this off!

  • @gmkilla27 - They really don't sound that much alike. I can see some similarities, though. Perhaps this band is one of Lady Antebellum's inspirations?

  • Absolutly Love it*

  • Song brings back memories of when the Chicago Bulls kicked ass with Michael Jordan. Used this song for the intro of starting line-up.

  • @mrstrictlygm Hell Yeah!!! at 6'6 from North Carolina playing shooting guard.... MICHAEL JORRRRRDAN!!!!!!!!

  • WONDERFUL!!!!

  • An amazing video and song . Love it!!!!

    Blessings of love and peace

    Claire

  • the great 80's for music . . .
