the opening riff was way too technical but still great vid i am INLIGHTENED! i cant stand when people get genres like this and screamo shit mixed up with death metal which actually requires music theory and talent but then again as u said for deathcore it also depends on the band as it can also be hard to find a good death metal band like Nile or Hate Eternal that isnt just a cannibal corpse sound alike. Also, I think the "techniques" that deathcore implements are really cool, and any incarnation I first heard of it I would have really loved. But the fact is, every band does the same damn thing now. After hearing the same diminished riffs and recycled chug breakdowns for 5 years I'm pretty sick of it.
