  • Is it full auto

  • @samuelshark6145 Safety Full Auto is one of the settings on the A-5 with E-Grip.

  • Can I still use aftermarket mods on this new A5 as I did with the older A5?

  • @GUNSFOREVER1 Yes, it will still accept most of the mods that the old A-5 would.

  • @TippmannSports Thank you sir.

  • they essentially made 2 x7s?

  • is it full metal?

  • @dotanpaz100 The Tippmann A-5 receivers are cast aluminum.

  • Is it compatible with the G36C kit still? The safety switch looks like it will get in the way.

  • @coolkid3333333333 Tippmann has never produced a G36 Kit for the A-5. That kit fits on the X7 and the X7 Phenom.

  • @TippmannSports Oh, I wasnt aware of that. After looking it up I read the kit actually might fit the new A5. Is that just a rumor is it true?

  • @coolkid3333333333 No, it is not compatible with the A-5.

  • Comment removed

  • @Laancaster Yes, the new A-5 is compatible with the RT.

  • I like that new forward sling mount. Good job guys.

  • Damn, that new flatline barrel is extremly ugly. Is the older flatline compatible with this new version?

  • im wanting a new gun and its new a5 vs x7 phenom...any help?

  • @rejected147 I'd say get the phenom, If you don't like shooting full-auto; go for the A5 though.

  • @rejected147 looks to me they are both extremely similar so its a style choice based on what you want as far as shrouds go

  • you know the thing you pull back to cock the gun? mine broke like the thing broke off how i do i fix that

  • @notafatass The cocking handle needs to be replaced. Call us for the part or send in the gun for warranty repair at 800-533-4831 option 2.

  • Can you attach a scope to the top?

  • TippmannParts has these in stock and shipping now.

  • i ordered it with e-grip thanx tippmann!!!!

  • i wish they would make a marker for us left handed players

  • @MommyBird10 He said that the new grip was ambidextrous meaning that either right or left handed players could use it comfortably.

  • @ThEaNiMaToRgUrU yes i understood that...the GRIP is AMI, but the selector is Still on the left...i want a marker with the selector on the right...maybe even the hopper on the left would be cool....the world is just too right handed..

  • Can you shoot it fully auto?

  • @Xbox36dplay3r With an E-Trigger installed Safety Full Auto is one of the settings.

  • can you attach the mp5 mags that you could witht he first 15??

  • Apex>Flatline

  • When will it be release and what's the msrp?

  • @wrestlemaniac202 its already out. i saw it at my local shop but depending on where you go you might still see a lot of the old models in stock so check the box. it retails for the same amount as the old a5.

  • i went to get an a-5 today. it was the 'new' a-5 and it was leaking hpa from the tombstone. the guy checked the o-ring for the fitting that screws into it and it still leaked the same after reconnecting it. should the fitting be screwed in hand tight or should pliers be used to tighten? what else could be the problem? are air leaks in paintball guns common? id like to get an a5 but i dont wanna deal with leaking issues.

  • When will you have the new flatline barrel available and how much will it cost?

  • @proteincheese also is it more improved other than the style than from the old a5 flatline?

  • @proteincheese The look has changed. The quality and performance remain the same.

  • This or X7 phenom? Because im searching for a new gun

  • sweet

  • dude that is sick i want it realy bad but dose it cost more

  • @liamconnolly33 its the same price...which is even more sick!!

  • May have to buy myself another A5!

  • Nice improvements and overall look of the marker. Good job Tippmann!

  • A5 was a good gun

  • The new X7 (not a bad thing) still can't destroy these things.

  • best gun of all the market

  • Wait so if you buy the new A-5 you get the hopper with it too? Please get back to me.

  • @AceDaBomb2 Yes, you get the low profile hopper.

  • @TippmannSports Awesome, and what is the capacity for the Low Profile Hopper, and will the range change for the new flatline barrel?

  • That is really easy to switch from safe to fire

  • I didn't know tippmann had a YouTube channel, awesome! And the new A5 looks great

  • Totally love the new design of the a-5 with all the goody upgrades defiantlly would be a buy If I didn't have a phenom

  • @devo143 Ahhh Lucky SOB! hahaha I want the Phenom but it's way to much. ):

  • sweet

  • Love the new a5 i like the slimline hopper and also the saftey it just got improved so much more its becoming similar to the x7

    Entering Comp :D

  • i loved that you cold remove the foregrip and "handguard" in one and the black air tube :D

  • I like what's done with the flatline!

  • Wow I should have waited for this a-5...

  • how much better is A5 than 98 custom?

  • The "T" in Tippmann stands for Tank, these things are built to last

  • Tippman is awesome!

  • I am going to buy this as soon as i sell my old a5, it looks so much better then the original and the little tab near the barrel comes off i love that GREAT JOB TIPPMANN, keep making amazing products and soon everyone will have a tippmann, as soon they just have to realize that Tippmann is the only way to go :) GREAT JOB !!!

  • A5 ROCKS MY WORLD

  • Although I like my Carver One, being that this is my first marker and chose the right brand...I should have gotten the X7 or A5. Now that Tippmann has come out with a newer version of the A5, I really would love to add this within my arsenal. Even though I have just one marker...lol. Thanks Tippmann....excellent brand!!

  • I want one!

  • just amazing

  • best marker ever i love a5

  • cool upgrades!

  • looks sexy i'm looking forward on buying one of these =) i'll probably be more happier than usual. trading my a5 was a big mistake

  • 2011:

    G1 or new a5?

    Stupid question ¬¬

  • ha awesome gun but i wish they would of warned us about it a week ago haha i just bought my A5 basic 5 days ago then the new one comes out... haha

  • you should sub the plastic cocking handle for an aluminum one....

  • when is it coming out to buy? and how much will it cost?

  • Its not really new, just a little upgraded.

  • coool

  • Eh, what a Let Down.

  • So when do we see the A5 phenom?

  • So how does the new cyclone system for the new A-5 compare to the Cyclone system on the Phenom? Would it be worth putting this new cyclone system on a Phenom?

  • looks awesome! but I wish I was sponsored.

  • Bout damn time, now get a regulator and optional regular hopper and itll be perfect

  • are those sling pins available to purchase separately?

  • @scenekkid213 Good plan talking about how Tippmann guns are bad on their Chanel where all their fans hang out. Also... Anyone who knows anything about paintball knows and can figure out that Tippmann guns arent meant to be speedball guns, they are meant to be cheap, durable, and easy to maintain. Not high in the priorities list of many speedball guns.

  • all the internet research i have seen says I should buy the X7 Phenom and that the A5 is out of date. It doesn't appear that this upgrade will help in overcoming the X7 but you never know. I plan to get the X7 Phenom when I have enough money saved up.

  • Excellent! I will invest in one and I want to upgrade it with that new Flatline! I love my current A5 as it is the most powerful and reliable marker I have in my collection. All I need is a stock and I will have myself a nice mockup of an Mp5 to add to my collection!

  • @scenekidd213, Considering you are a 'scene kid', your opinions mean nothing.

However, since someone needs to explain it to you, Tippmann is made for woodsball and scenario players, NOT speedball.

  • I might consider the new A5 if it wasn't such a pain in the ass to maintain. Now many of you are going to say "Tippmanns don't need maintenance". You are dead wrong. ALL paintball markers require maintenance, just some more than others. Tippmanns don't require a whole lot, but shit happens to where you have to painstakingly take it apart. I hate the clamshell idea and I hate all the little parts and pieces. Tippmann is well behind the competition in the "Ease of Maintenance" category.

  • WoooooW =D

  • why no a.c.t.? because thats what we want.

  • my first ever marker was an A5 and boy how i loved it! bloody reliable and super tough. sadly ive sold it off since i started playing speedball more but still, hats off to Tippmann for such a hardcore marker. plan to get a new A5 though for old times sake.

  • Very nice!

  • Some very good new features. The Cyclone feed modifications will be appreciated by Tippmann owners that experienced the "popcorn effect." The new Flatline barrel is also a nice touch. I just may have to buy a new A-5 and see how it goes...my last one shot more gas out of the sealing surfaces than out of the barrel, prompting me to get a different brand of marker. My original A-5, now my oldest daughter's, is her baby and she is deadly with it!

  • ewwwww, i hate Tippman, im the speedball guy, used one once, and it sucked!!!!!

  • @scenekidd213 its because your a speedball guy jeez, take a bad dive with your speedball gun and its broken, take a bad dive with a tippman and it laughs

  • @eboga30 I've taken dozens bad dives with my Alias (including 3 feet onto concrete) and it still works like a champ. Don't know where you got your information, mate.

  • @scenekidd213 dumbass if youre such a "speedball guy" you wouldnt have picked one up in the first place

  • @scenekidd213 you suck tippmann is the landmark of paintball
