Found myself humming a tune today and realized it was a Quincy song, what a band, they were excellent live, but they did NOT have the right producer, to be honest, I had heard a demo song for the album (done in the basement where some of these guys lived, a guy named Eddie recorded this on an 8-track) and I think he did a better job the guy CBS gave them. I still think they were one of the better bands from that genre, jut didn't get the right break
My friend Lori and I would drive from Philly AT LEAST once a week to dance to this band at The Galaxy!I love this band still, and have many pictures. Thanks for bringing a great memory back to life for me.
I burned this record to CD years ago (along with the 1st Smash Palace)/ Quincy features prominently in my iTunes PopwerPop playlist... I remember seeing them back in 1981, I think... Its still excellent stuff!! Gotta love Youtube...
Wow! I know I was there because I'm in this video but I don't remember it at all. This was back when MTV had no commercials and record companies didn't give bands money to make videos. The special FX are primitive to say the least. I think we got everyone to give us their equipment and services because we were about be famous.
WOW ...Thanks so much for posting this video. I used to have this album years ago. The whole album was awesome. Wish I still had it. You have great taste in music. I like all the videos you post. Now, If I could only find the Yachts w/the song "Yachting Type" also around the same time as Quincy.

Hi! My friends and I were your "groupies" at Harvey's. I don't remember any of us being that 80's!
