Is that an Iraqi baby? Are you an idiot.. That is a black baby! Sanger, the mother of abortion was a racist. Over half the abortions today are black babies. Put that in your compassionate, tolerant pipe and smoke it. Killing black babies is a pro choice right. Go ahead and call the pro life people racist. You hypocrite. Liberalism is a mental disorder. Abortion is called a pogrom in plain words.
I am proud to be disgusting, if that is your opinion. In your tolerant compassionate mind you want to kill innocent babies and kill grandma and grandpa all at the same time. Ah, the consequence of good intentions. Fails all the time.
Yeah, because the Democrats hate Medicaid and Medicare. It's one thing to have elected Conservatives make stuff up for political gain, it's another thing for simpletons like you to just go along with it when you know it's utter BS.
So, go ahead and support Minutemen murdering illegals, revoking Medicaid and Medicare because you think medical care is a privilege, and denying pre-natal care for pregnant women. In your world, you can declare yourself a protector of life and feel good about it.
Well said, I'm glad to see people standing up for the right to have public health care. Medical treatment should not be a privilege only rich people can afford.
I feel lucky I live in a country that has public heal care
Hey genius; back in 1966 when Medicare was started, they predicted/projected that the program would cost $20 billion in 1990. Actual cost was $105 billion.
And you claim that more government reform will make it cheaper for all of us? Not feeling very bright right now; are we?
What does a bad estimate 24 years later have to do with the program's efficiency?
Look, Medicare has a 2% administration code compared to the private insurers' 20%. It's non-profit. There only a couple ways the private insurers could DREAM to be more efficient:
1) Deny coverage when the public plan would pay for care.
2) Charge much higher rates than the public plan.
3) Somehow convince the healthcare providers to charge less than for the public plan.
You take profit out of healthcare, and see what happens. Medicare has approx $39 billion in unfunded liabilities. Your claiming this 2% is meaningless. How much do all the employees in the system cost?
A bad estimate? Is that all it is? Face it, the government always lowballs what something will cost, and when you factor in their cluelessness about market forces, you have ineptitude.
No one is taking profit out of healthcare. That's probably where you've been mistaken. We're talking about health insurance. Nobody is going anywhere near healthcare. It's not changing one iota.
Medicare uses 2% of premiums (the amount the workforce pays) for administration. It's VERY efficient. It doesn't take money for profit and doesn't pay people to figure out how to commit recission and deny claims.
I wouldn't talk about ineptitude considering we just bailed out a bunch of banks.
If healthcare wasn't regulated by the fed now, it would be cheap. Since health care companies are not allowed to compete across state lines due to the federal regulations, it's a rip off. But of course it's the republicans fault. It always is to a brain dead liberal.
Healthcare isn't regulated by the fed. Now the free market doesn't work because you a Coloradan can't get healthcare from a New York firm? What, the free market doesn't work within the state?
And what...too afraid to compete with a public offering? Grow a pair and see what Aetna can do...eh?
By the way, you had 8 years to fix healthcare. You didn't. Then you fricked up everything else you touched. So, stop whining, keep your precious private insurer, and enjoy your lower rate.
Wanted different reform, blame your own party for not giving a damn.
The deficit, as usuall (through out history) is the repubs fault....This is your fault...you cant criticize someone for fixing your mistakes. Unless your an idiot.
What good is lying going to do for the country?????????
Oh yea, Im a veteran (combat infantry) its not such a big deal when the poor fight and die or suffer in other ways, but give healthcare to those uninsured holy crap!! you guys get all worked up.
I've read HR3200, if this is the one you refer to. There is NOTHING about rationing; the page they refer to sets limits on what individuals and families pay out of pocket per year. The way it is now, there is no limit...once your heath insurer says it is at its limits, you are financially responsible for any and all costs. This section of the bill restricts the amount of responsibility you will incur.
I say the same thing to our congress. Have you read it. Im about 400 pages in. How many if any have you read? If you have come across anything you like? Have you read about rationing care in a emergency?
I can't read the whole bill, I have a job and two kids. But you knock yourself out reading 400 pages of legislation that will change. Sure. I believe you. In the meantime, I voted for Obama to take care of these things for me. ;-)
Read the words as they appear on the page. I know the legalese is hard to get through sometimes, but if you have questions about any of the language please investigate before you pass wrong information.
One MAJOR thing I am really FUCKING pissed off in this Healthcare Sham, is the fact there are Death Panels to decide if there is enough money to pay for a cancer surgery ect. And also in this Bill that should really FUCKING PISS YOU OFF MORE, is the fact Healthcare Admns, can look into your bank account real time to prevent you from paying out of your pocket for anything the Govt does not cover. Can we say MEDICAID people. This is the real aim of healthcare reform as I see it.
I was at this rally, and a local reporter asked a woman holding a sign that said "Read the Bill", if she'd read it, and she said "no". Pretty pathetic that people listen to the garbage of the extreme right wing without actually finding out if it is true. No, cosmetic surgery is not covered, get a grip people! Great video, though, thanks for sharing!
it is so sad the ignorant republicans how the way right has frightened them so much it is real ya know there fear mongering lies to the old and to the not so smart has worked and it is so so so sad i feel sorry for the people believing the crap dished out by republicans it is very very sad well had heard the dems are coming through my feeds lets see in the next few days how that goes
No government run program in any advanced country has ever been cheaper than a private alternative. Social security and medicare are bankrupt, the post office is ending saturday deliveries and closing/merging branches to help stop their budget shortfalls, and geithner is trying to get congress to increase our 12 trillion dollar deficit because of new spending measures. Government doesn't save money, it spends it.
SS is having trouble because the Repubs wanted to dismantle it instead of fix it. A slight tax tweak and it will be golden to handle the baby boomers until that generation "moves on." Medicare is underfunded because the private insurers won't cover them as they aren't employed and have many pre-existing conditions. The post office has budget shortfalls because of you anti-tax crybabies, but otherwise does a stupendous job and I applaud them. And, our deficit, we owe that all to YOU GUYS.
Surely you jest. Every other industrialized country that beats the US on healthcare.(we rank 37th by the way) is lower than us. US healthcare 16% of GDP. Canada 10% of GDP, England 8.2% and the list goes on. The french come the closest with healthcare costs at 11% of GDP. If ou going to rant please do it with facts not fiction.
You are correct. We rank 37th right after Slovania, but you can beat right-wingers over the head with facts all day and they will still insist that the Texas Chainsaw Massacre really happened. You are witnessing the sort of genetic horrors that take place when cousins re-produce and the health insurance industry pisses away 1.5 million dollars a day to spread lies about paying for abortions, killing grandma, and rationing. Health care is rationed right now - to the rich!
hmm...how long has the United States Post Office been in existence? Where were you for the last 10 years when the deficit grew out of control by tax give-aways and subsidies? How would you know that government doesn't save money when we haven't had a fiscally responsible government in more than a decade?
Is that an Iraqi baby? Are you an idiot.. That is a black baby! Sanger, the mother of abortion was a racist. Over half the abortions today are black babies.
