The person that you hypnotize needs to want to be hypnotized. If they don't believe it can happen or don't want to be hypnotized... it won't happen. Try it on a serious friend. :)

It depends on the subject; it IS possible to hurt someone with hypnosis. It's just highly difficult to do so.

I have hypnotized many students in my Psych class, and I have had an unusual response after the session is over, and was wondering if you have ever seen this happen...What I have noticed is that the subject gets chilled and is very cold after I have brought them out of the trance.

I have only noticed it once, but usually they don't hang around. It just so happened that some of the students stuck around and I noticed it then. It was easy to get them back to a normal feeling with an audio suggestion, and they were fine after that!

I didn't think the room was cool, but I did do a hot-cold demo...maybe I ddn't erradicate the cold feeling??? You have never seen this happen?

nope, that's extremely weird. abreactions usually happen with some rhyme or reason but, like you said, this is really weird.

after being relaxed, your body slows down and as you're not moving your breathing slows and your body cools down. Sometimes they get the person to cover themselves with a blanket or something.

When I asked her after if she remembered anything, she said no. Only because as a post hypnotic suggestion I told her she wouldn't remember what happened. But she did see the video and was very amused. LOL

Nice, but you have some wrong. Never ever say "are the NUMBERS gone?" it's not the the most effective way. you should say "all gone"? or "gone?" or "are they gone?" because when you say the word "numbers" you bring them back again.

Good job learning one of the better inductions, I only have some phrasing issues. Careful about telling a person what they are doing, instead of 'you are going deeper' try 'let yourself go deeper'. This builds a trust contract
