I'm not hating. It's the truth. He was underthrowing receivers by about 10-15 yards during the only game in which he needed to throw (Boise State) He went 0-3 with 2 INT's. Whereas we ripped the Redshirt off Darron Thomas and he went 13/25 210 Yards and 3TD's. I'm speaking the truth, not hate, that you don't want to hear. Your expect a dramatic improvement at QB for a guy who was meant to be a RB/WR. Like I said earlier have fun being at the bottom of the Big 12.

Once again, Chris Harper had a bum shoulder during his one big chance (Boise State) that was given to him and he could only make certain throws. Think about it, why else was Chip so conservative when Harper was in? I think Chris could be a successful QB if put in the right situation. It took the perfect storm of his bad shoulder and Masoli unexpectedly destroying to give him no chance at PT. With that and him being uncomfortable in Eugene, I don't blame him.

True, it doesn't seem fair. However, how do you think Harper felt after the Boise State game? He shot way down the depth chart after being 3rd string (pre Costa getting hurt) and was ahead of Masoli for a bit at the beginning. It's part of the game, but that compounded with him wanting to go back home really bad probably weighed down on him quite a bit. It makes me respect Chip that much more now because he could have blocked him from K State knowing we play them in 2 years, but he didn't.

i think he felt like a young QB who just didnt have D-1 talent at the position. he has the intangables though and his career is going to go through a HORRIBLE obstacle if he wants to be a QB. theres no way hes drafted as a QB..but as a wideout he has the speed and size to go first round

kelly knows a good QB. from dixon to roper to masoli..this guy can develop anyone. for him to give up on harper as a QB shows something.
