Heh, the lights match the color used on default color schemes for Wii pointers on the Wii Menu and match colors on Wii Sports/Wii Sports Resort.

It's cool, but the problem is it drains battery faster.

The margin that it drains is marginal. If you go wild with the lights and any other accessories it really drains it.

I didn't do any of the above. I connected the wiimote to my computer and you can literally turn any led on that you want. The only thing you have to do is program "when i push the plus or minus button turn this led off and this led on".
