i have played kingdom hearts 1 and 2 twice so here's my question

how could namine be kairi's nibody if kairi was never a heartless?

i know about roxas being formed in hollow bastion in kh1 but namine was never shown, unless it happened i kh:com

its cuz when ever the heartless attacked the island and Kairi went to the heart of their world (secret place)she gave her heart to Sora but in doing that there had to be some sort of darkness that entered creating namine ^-^ its only a thought though ^_^;;; not completely sure on that so yeah

I had the same question....I think its because her heart was always inside of soras....not allowing the heart to become a heartless.....so all that was left was a empty "Shell" of Kairi's. so there was never a heartless....but since both her heart and the shell were gone out of the body, namine was born, instead of both. so.....thats my best explination

Kairi became a nobody because Malificent and the other evil people took it, but Sora gave up his heart so she wouldn't be a heartless anymore.
