Those guys were the last of their kind the best comedians ever,a couple of months ago a greek komedian also died here in greece one of the greratest ones as well. Unfortunately comedy has evolved into swearing and vulgar content....don't get me wrong I find that also extremely amusing but nowadays I don't think anyone can carry off the innocent horseplay like laurel an hardy, I somehow think that idiotic painful lifeless 'attempt' at comedy we see in some films these days would be the result.....my personal view is we were lucky to get anything like laurel and hardy as I believe they were a complete one off!!!

I knew who Laurel and Hardy were, but I had never seen any of their films or shorts till a few years back. Thank God for Grandparents. I may have never of known the funny that is Laurel and Hardy. They put me in tears of laughter every movie I saw at one point maybe even more then once per movie. Classic, I don't think words can describe their chemstry as a duo.

I have an 8 year old daughter who has a great sense of humor, story, film and art.

She can name pretty much all the Little Rascals, loves them, pretty well likes the Stooges, and dearly loves Laurel & Hardy. With full understanding of it being a generational matter, she introduces them to her friends, and they've loved them and marvel at how they never knew them.
