i got games n music today. it finally came in the mail. heres what i did: i put the disk in and installed it like normal, i put the micro card in the reader usb thing and i put it in. then a message in the bottem right says usb device not recognized. so i went to my computer then went to removable disk (j:). its all blank. so i try to drag and drop my stuff that i downloaded, such as the homobro 04. and it says"cannot copy this file: cannot specify file amke sure you specity the correct file"

I have heard we could record video of gameplay while playing roms with DS Organize, and save them directly to the sd card. Is it fake? if it's possible, how to do that?

The Games n' Music does have a DLDI patch (what allows you to access the microSD). What you heard was from right after the Games n' Music came out, when it was notorious for not having a patch...but eventually someone wrote one and everything's good.

use dsorganize to boot it then it should work. u need gbc roms to. Download gbc roms and make a folder to put them in on your gnm. once u boot lameboy go to your roms that u downloaded.

Homebrew is homemade software. It's written using unofficial development kits and runs on homebrew cartridges (Games n' Music, R4, M3, etc). It is NOT commercial software, which is written by game studios (Nintendo, Activision, Sony, Microsoft, etc). Anything you download online from game studios is ILLEGAL.

Downloading copies of non-homebrew games is ILLEGAL and will not be tolerated.

Besides, the GnM can't run pirated software, so don't even think about it. GnM runs HOMEBREW only (well, really small games may run, but it's still ILLEGAL).

Do you have a DS Lite? Lite's often have problems connecting to WiFi with homebrew, but to fix it, try setting your router to channel 10, as that seems to help. Also, only certain homebrew programs will work with the Lite on any channel, because the WiFi library had to be updated to work with the Lite, and not all programs use the new library.

To set up Internet, you need a WiFi enabled game (MKDS, THAS, MPH, ACWW, etc) and use the WiFi setup on the game. Then DSO will work.

hey i figured out so nvm, for the others that may have the problem of the web browser, try configuring the wifi again, cuz i had everything exactly the same as before, idk what happen, but do the manual settings, its better.

I use the auto settings, it worked fine for me. If you have certain settings on your router, it is possible that automatic setup will fail, but normally it works fine. You don't need to enter anything else, just do a WiFi config and boot your DSOrganize file, it should work fine.

i cant get the browser to work i just loads but its all white. I have the beup messenger and it works fine with the settings i have in the wifi. My question is that if i need to have the same settings from the pc or i have to enter a different ip address to make it work like the beup messenger and if u leave it in auto-obtain ip address or u fill up everything in the wifi.

DSOrganize isn't a video player and DragonMinded said he never will implement it. Get MoonShell for videos, it uses converted dpg videos.

There's nothing wrong with 2.9. In fact, it's better.

The booting bug is in 2.8, where you need to rename it. 2.9 has a working boot, both booting from GnM and booting other apps, without any modification (change setting to Chishm though), and it has some images support in browser.

Yeah, you can boot all (most, at least, all 4MB or lower) homebrew using DSOrganize's Chishm loader. You can't boot anything larger than the DS's internal RAM (4MB) or commercial ROMs, but commercial demos also work.

Did you read my last comment?!? You have to set up WiFi in order for the browser to work. Also make sure the DSORGANIZE folder is on the ROOT of your microSD, if it's in any other folder, it won't work. There may be problems with new DS-Lites with new WiFi chips, in that case set your router to channel 10 (it helps on some apps).

You have to use a WiFi game to configure your Internet connection. Take MarioKart DS (or another WiFi game), go to WiFi Settings, click on Search for an Access Point, if yours is secured, type the pass code, then it will test, when it's successful, turn off DS, put in GnM card, and boot DSOrganize.

the ds organize works and all but.....what does this mean??? every time I boot dsorganize it says ERROR! the resource directory is incomplete, Certain features such as Homebrew Database and Homebrew booting might not work and some graphics might be missing!

Oh I figured it out. Make sure the DSOrganize directory is in the root of the card. If its in a separate folder or anything, it won't work.
