hey, did I rave on here about how BJ is coming to Australia and I got tickets! never thought it would happen...but there you go. Not sure how well known he is down here now but its very good of him to make the effort as he must be 70 next year. I hope he doesnt need the money because its a pretty short tour so he must be doing it for the fans. Champion.

My father and I saw him live in a short concert in my hometown on my birthday in '95. He sat and talked with my dad right after the concert and treated us to dinner after for my birthday. The concert was at the end of March '1995 and my dad died in September of the same year. The concert and dinner were the last thing that my dad and I did in public together, and B.J. made it very memerable and such a sweet memory. He really is a very sweet man with a huge heart.

Its funny that someone mentioned this was during his "drug years" cause I was thinking his eyes looked like he might have been under the influence. I'm glad he made it through those rough years and I must say he was soooo HANDSOME while he sung this song!! I don't care if he was stoned or whatever. He still managed to sing from his heart and soul!! Love this man!! Thank you God for savign him!!!!!!

@mandeedees: This song came around 1982, so it was after his drug years (well, his first drug yrs anyway, which ended around 1976). But yeah I agree with you, he sounded good in everything he sang even back then! I believe he's truly done with them now, and thank God for that! This man has a certain tenderness quality in his voice that is just so beautiful. I hope he'll sing forever....

@Talibeltori I agree, I hope he'll sing forever (or at least till I'm dead and gone) can't bare the thought of losing him in my lifetime! This man could sing me out of a coma!! You mean he wasn't under the influence and his eyes looked THAT sexy?!?! I know his wife went through hell and back with him (after reading his books) but I still think she is the luckiest person alive!! And I would love to shake her hand! I love all that BJ does - if you can find him singing We're Over or Early Morning Hush-or especially "Alone Too Long" please post them, (these are from his "rough days around 1975-76 when he got into drugs and yet his music was so haunting and beautiful then. Thanks for keeping BJ in our minds!
