this is very interesting. i've been to the bavangazoo rungus and i really like the experiences there. i lunch meal was delicious. i do miss the vegetable dishes though.

@tracie2609 ...Dalam tradisi perkhawinan Rungus, Pihak perempuan menangis menandakan perpisahan akan berlaku di antara keluarganya...Ini lah tradisi orang rungus..biarpun pihak perempuan tidak menangis tapi harus menangis semasa upacara 'mongori' iaitu semasa perempuan di bungkus kain. Upacara ini biasanya berlaku sebelum bersanding. Pihak perempuan menangis bukan kerana di paksa khawin tetapi adat resam dan tradisi perkhawinan. Thanks

normally,,for the traditional rungus' wedding: the spouse for the rungus lady is chosen by thier parent. it mean weither they like it or not they have to abide by thier parent's choice.maybe she have somebody else on her mind but have to forget it as to respect her parent choice

yes.the bride is reluctant to accept as she was actually had been forced to marry without her consent.long time ago, rungus's gal are not allowed to choose thier own spouse. the elder will choose it for them
