Not at all bad, but you should listen to the German version sung by Marlene Dietrich and called "Fräulein Annie wohnt schon lange nicht hier." It's far better and the tragedy is a lot clearer.

@bihonning Guy Lombardo's dance band wasn't in business to convey "tragedy," nor do I think this song was written to convey it.There's similar but even better Lombardo version on You-tube sung by Kenny Gardner.
