I agree, underwater settings are way underused in videogames. The same goes for arctic environments (off the top of my head I can only think of Cryostasis and Penumbra utilizing the latter).
@GamblerJustice You should probably play Remember11 then, too. Especially if you liked Ever17, since Remember11 is the sequal to this game. It plays in an arctic setting, though the story is a bit more complex (in a different way, with that I mean) than Ever17.
Hi, this is a little bit late but I want to thank you for the recommendation. I ended up playing through R11 a month or two ago because of it, and I really enjoyed the game, despite the somewhat disappointing ending.
The underwater/sci-fi vibe was awesome, one of the best settings for a game I have ever seen. I mean, who even ever thought of an underwater.. themepark? Other than that, one of the best games I have ever played.
