Hehee, I'd probably react the same way If I only saw the intro (I hate that intro) xD, but the show itself isn't bad. You can tell the creators put a lot of effort in to it.

I often find myself telling my friends about some funny stuff that goes on in the show and they love it! But, when they ask what show I'm referencing and I answer "My Little Pony" their reactions are very similar to those in this video.. :P

the writing is so well done, the animation puts so many easter eggs into it, i mean u can tell a lot of work goes into the show. and its nice how much the creators care what people on the internet think.

my gf thought it was dumb the first 10 minutes she watched it, i thought it was weird when i first heard guys liked it so i wanted to see what the hoopla was about and i stuck with it and im glad i did because there just isnt a show out there like it.

It's well written, performed and animated, and is funny without a hint of darkness or irony. It's a refreshing, simple tv show that doesn't get nasty or treat its viewers like idiots. Don't hate on it just because it's about cute ponies - watch an episode or two and then decide. It might surprise you.
