That's interesting, jjrhs, I never saw it as depression. It always struck me as a guy who saw the world and wanted to "paint it black" meaning wanted to darken the world so that it mirrored his soul which is black. If that's the case, then it's perfectly Joker. :)

Heath set the standard for the Joker that I don't think can be matched. Other actors will only try to imitate.

Heath tread new, unbroken ground. Nobody, I mean nobody could have foreseen how Heath took a perceived character from prior movies and made it into a new, bold refreshing character that will be a benchmark for a very, very long time. Think of Charlie Chaplin in the Tramp. Heath's performance stands the test of time.

Not the worst music video I've seen, but really not well done at all. Especially the varying aspect ratios, they really cheapen the video. Most of the video didn't seem to fit the song or vice-versa, and the repeated blue flame video for the lyrics "deeper blue" felt very forced. Probably would have used more action sequences and faster cuts.

well, if you have a windows OS (operating system) such as XP or vista, you only have to go to Start and go to all programs and look for "windows movie maker" which is under msn. Look closley through entire list of programs... its easy to miss. otherwize im sure there is a site you can download it from. Google it if you dont have it installed.

This is a great music video and the best joker tribute i have seen so far! GREAT WORK 5/5. But mabey next time you could use "Joker and the Thief" by Wolfmother, and put that music to an edited version of the bank robbery at the start. Rolling stones was the writer on the song, this is the Rolling stone version, my favorite one is from Agony of scene (or Scene of agony, do not remember order.) but paint it black has alot of different versions of music, it has a punk themed from unseen, has death metal version from two bands, has a very.... uniqe version from the animals and rage.... and other versions. Type in paint it black covers if you are interested :p
