Everybody who has even a passing interest in plot-driven videogames really needs to pick this up. It's the best story a JRPG has ever produced. Bar none. Without question.

I only wish Natalia's japanese voice actress spoke english :P her voice was the only engish voice I hated, and I absolutely love her japanese one. I think I'll be getting me a 3DS when this game is released

Tales of the Abyss is one of my favorite Tales of games. The story was awesome, the characters unique and I just love the small details in the Tales series, for example the Pic on Lukes back or the poster above Guys bed. But nevertheless, I want the PS2 game for europe, it's just to expensive to buy the 3DS just for TotA. Wish they would do more awesome games for 3DS... Oh, the only thing I don't like on that game is this stupid Namco's "lololol!!! Decide for yourself!!!" End -.-

Here in Spain, many people say "if the game is not in Spanish, I'm not going to buy it" Me included. Please, Spanish subtitles and Japanese voice selector. It's a great game, everyone should be able to play and language would not have to be an impediment. Now that Nintendo 3DS has so little catalog is the opportunity to make the series better known

@KanbeiOda In my opinion it's a shamenyou think that way - that's very popular in Spain, you think everything should be in spanish, if not it's a crap. Is that difficult to learn english ? Besides, think about playing games in english like the best way of learning - you do what you like and you achieve a fundamental skill in XXI century. As you can see I'm not a native "english-speaker" (my english is awfi'm doing my best :D ) but I normally play games in english. It's not that difficult.

@SirGiurek Si, pero comprende que no es justo que un juego se traduzca al Frances y al aleman, idiomas minoritarios en comparacion al nuestro. luego van y tienen la desfachatez de traernos el juego con la caratula en completo ingles y cobrarnos mas dinero. Yo podria jugarlo tranquilamente (actyalmente estoy jugando a un RPG en ingles) pero no me da la gana pagar por algo que puedo jugar en español si lo busco bien (y ya he hecho en su tiempo). Y como yo, piensa bastante gente (logico)

@KanbeiOda Pues si, tienes toda la razon :) Lo que me molesta a mi es la gente que va criticando a los juegos porque no estan traducidos - algo muy comun en AppStore de iOS, donde muchos usuarios ponen la nota mas baja y hacen comentarios de estilo "ke lo traduzcan!!!", sin tener en cuenta la calidad del juego. A mi me gusta jugar tanto en ingles como en espanol, aunque no son mis lenguas maternas ;)

@LFKzeGemini this game is a port of the same game which is available for the PS2 so yea stop complaining and that last statement of yours while i highly doubt they'll make a japanese language option they should atelast have some better voice acting for the english version since just......god those guys sound so not interested in whatever they were doing

@DivineSeo is the dub from the trailer the "amazing dub" you're talking about? if it is then...the KH series has to be godlike dub work (even though in the KH series the voice acting is actually pretty good) if it isn't then i'am even more hyped (BTW actually if you can please tell me if the ones from the trailer are the same voices from the game i will be really happy)

Namco, i know you will probably wont do this but PLEASE put an option to choose between english/japanese voice over, many people had to pirate this game on the ps2 just to hear the japs voices (undub versions) listen to your fans and put a multi-language option.

@SeraphimSwordmaster isn't the backwards compatibility aspect of the PS3 region locked though? judging from the fact that this is the EU Namco Bandai, I'd say the only system it'll be playable on is 3DS, without breaking a few rules.
