holy shit. i wish you were my science fair partner. HOLY shit dude, that is awesome!!!!! you custom fit and installed all the fittings, you dont see many good recreations, you sir = win
hey if you take out the valve out of an old tire rim you can (try) to put in the hole you made for the air hose connection. so now you can fill it up and move freely
@ikeswordsmen no no i can move freely, that tank sticking out of the front is actually an 88g CO2 cartirage, must like the ones you put in co2 pistols only much larger, but so i don't waste them, i plug into my shop when just shooting around.
is the cilinder just a split-air mechanism? so that 1 part of the air goes into the barrel and the other 1 pulls the cilinder back? or is it more complicated?
Help me out guys give me some subscribers with my new page i am uploading 2 new videos as we speak on the matrix a&k dragunov i will be soon doing gun cams and videos simular to the famous scoutthedoggie thanks guys :)
@wyz2285 Im going to post a vid soon (working out compatibility issues) of it in its bolt action form, witch creates 4 inch grouping at 200 measured feet and has roughly 250 ft of range, a be aware this is completely homemade and if i had a full machine shop, it would be much more accurate.
Im using 150psi through the shop, but an internal regulator regulates it to somewhere within 120-130 psi
@wyz2285 yes, well its built to be semi-auto and bolt action, and in the bolt action form, it is much more consistent and accurate (because the system does not need to deal with operating the bolt
@Forshledian If you use a 12v 3-way valve+QEV(fire)+pneumatic cylinder(reload), you will get more power, better reload and sound. You should take a look at spudfiles.
@wyz2285 my original idea was to use 2 valves, the first would open to fill a chamber, close and the next would then release the air in the chamber to fire the gun but the valves are one way so the air just leaks back out, knida annoying, but now that you bring to my attention that their are 3 way vales, that sounds like a brilliant idea
@Forshledian 3-ways work more or less like this: position one, it fills the chamber(connected to a air source), position two, it disconnects the chamber from the air source and let the air of the chamber out(normally used to pilot a qev).
@LizardBreeder Its semi-auto because that system at 1:38 is attached to the tappet plate of the original AEG and as the CO2 blows it back and the spring moves it forward it chambers another bb into the hop-up chamber, so its ready to be fired again. At 3:16 you can see what i mean
@LizardBreeder I couldn't tell you exactly what solenoid it is because its been a long time, but i found it threw a bit of Google searching. Their is no timer on the solenoid, its open for as long as you have your finger on the trigger, I dont have one because i done no how to run that kinda of electrical system.

Forshledian 6 months ago
@Forshledian Oh sorry about my post :) 250 ft of range for airsoft bbs is very impressive o.o
4 inch grouping at 200 ft is great too, but during the video I saw double feed and some bbs fly out of it´s trajectory gravely :(

Forshledian 6 months ago
@Forshledian I belive that, homemade reloading systems for semi auto aren´t easy to make.
That´s why I usually use muzzel load/ bolt action for my sniper rifles
