  • @saxonthebeach96 dont be a bitch, bro

  • @todreamofcaramel what kid (besides of course kids who are forced to recite poems by their parents) would rather recite a poem in their superman costume than go and pretend they are actually superman and that a giant meteor is about to hit the world and they have to stop it?

  • Oh my! He's going to be such a great pleasure in school. Poetry helps to relax the mind and embraces the intelligence. This is one intelligent child you have! LOVE his readings! Keep up the great work!

  • What a cutie! My little boy saw this and wanted to learn it too. (He's 4) Now he knows this and the Tiger. :)

  • his voice is literally the cutest thing i have ever heard! he is so smart! i especially like the billy collins poems!

  • hes sooo cute! ;3

  • Aw. <3

  • Very impressive. He is adorable and smart!

  • This made my revision

  • nothing is cuter than little kids reciting poems

  • This child is so fortunate to have a mother who cares enough about his growing mind and his education to encourage him to learn and use his gifts. Bravo for not relying on DVDs and TV shows to teach this young man. My grandmother used to recite poetry to her grandkids when we were all little, and it made us all want to learn more and more. You are planting a priceless seed in this little boy's mind. Again, Bravo!

  • I really don't understand why there are dislikes and negative comments on this. It's amazing how well he recites poems.

  • Gee, and my mother only had me learn "The Owl and the Pussycat"....

I am grateful to her for that, BTW. I think recitation is a fine old tradition well worth preserving.

  • @doctorpsycho1960 "The Owl and the Pussycat" is one of our favorites!

  • Beautiful! Bravo bravo!!!

  • @WhoaKaela I accidentally voted your post down and it won't allow me to correct it! I'm sorry! I agree--bravo!

  • He truly IS superman :)

  • Tennyson and a Superman suit!! What MORE could you ask for?!? Great job MOM!!

  • Hahaha he is a treasure! He won't have much trouble in school with a memory like that!

  • Amazing.

  • When he finishes with 'he falls' I nearly died with the overwhelming cuteness.

  • I think it's so adorable that he says poetry in a super suit!

  • two people have no soul

  • This might be the most adorable child I have ever seen in my life. Almost makes me want to have children of my own. I could watch him recite poetry all day. His enthusiasm seems to give it meaning somehow - meaning that isn't there when I read the poems or even recite them myself. I would love to see more - it brings joy to my day. If you're taking requests, I vote for Rumi. :-)

  • oh my gosh, this is so cute <3

  • This is one gifted boy and he has a super mother, obviously! What a delight listening and watching this recitation!

  • Your son will one day enjoy reading Pam Conrad's "Prairie Songs." This poem plays a role in it!

  • this brings happy tears to my eyes.

  • This little doll makes me weep! He is a beautiful little person. I love how his mom has made this a wondrous experience for him and for us! Thank you so much!

  • I am showing these videos to my sixth graders... having them recite poetry soon. A great inspiration!

  • What's really amazing about this child is that He not only memorizes these poems, but He seems to understand what He is saying. GREAT JOB to the parents and the child

  • Freaking amazing. It's not just that he's reciting this. He's actually dramatizing it, too. Like a little actor on stage. He has amazing grasp of the language that is so beyond a 3 year old. Lovely. Very talented boy. =)

  • His expressions are the best!

    "...and like aTHUNDERBOLT..." :)

  • A genius in the making! I am so floored by his ability to not just recite, but tell a story.

  • I love him!

  • He is channeling this poem. Fascinating and delightful. Thank you! :)

  • how did you guys work on this? what are his memorization techniques? it looked almost like sign language at points. is he otherwise gifted? thank you for sharing.

  • wow!! He is amazing!! Cutie pie!

  • I adore these. He is just a doll. My mom taught me Trees by Joyce Kilmer when I was about his age. It fueled a love for words and memorization that has only helped over the years. It's also a cherished memory I have of her. He'll have the memories, AND the videos. =) Keep up the good work!

  • I wish somebody had done this for me.

  • Your son is absolutely adorable! =) It's awesome that he's so happy reciting poems and he's going to do so well in school! You're an awesome mom - keep it up! =)

  • This is the most adorable thing I have seen. EVER. If he does more, please share them!

  • WOW!

  • Have you found Douglas Florian's poetry yet. My son adored it as a preschooler. The language is beautiful but appeals to kids' sense of humor, and they really lend themselves to recitation.

  • You have no idea what a great mother you are.

  • Very poetic. Read it with better emotions then most people in this world could do.

  • I don't know you son, but I love him

  • Thank you, this is a joy and a wonder!

  • how freakin cute is that

  • This is amazing, he's adorable.

  • I love this and he is so adorable and fun to watch. If you go to poetry on parade on youtube you will see 3rd graders reciting and may find some poems there. Also he might like Frog by Mary Ann Hoberman and Jabberwocky, Lake Isle of Innisfree and Keep a Poem in Your Pocket. It is delightful to see a little guy having fun with words. You are giving him a gift and also sharing the possibility of what kids can do with others is a gift. Thank you!! Can't wait to see what else he learns.
