Actually I think the UK theme tune sounded like some 70s US army show, with its bombardistic nature. Law and Order UK should have the same theme with a British flair, just like the others are the same but remixed.

Anyways, I say the Law & Order: UK intro would have been better with a remix of the original Law & Order. But that's my opinion.

It used to be the CI intro, until CI switched channels and now uses the what used to be the Law and Order: Trial By Jury theme (I miss that show a lot). It just sounds wrong now every time I watch Criminal Intent.

But you're right, UK definitely needs a remix of the US theme.

yeah they should have let the trial by jury them die wit hthe show. i kidna felt insulted when they got rid of the old CI theme . and yes i think the UK needs there intro more americanized.. but just a bit.. just the theme

Can't beat the original, but I think it belongs in the US, while the UK's opening theme is more appropriate.

It doesn't work...the speech at the begining with the ching-ching at the starts works but not the music...The music fits the NY landscape. Nice work though.

I think it's nice it went together so well, but I prefer the UK version - of the show and the theme song. (except of course Goren - who rocks my socks). ;)

@Fonjil I think the CI theme matches this intro. But there are two versions of the origianl theme. Season 1 to 3 had the one that was about a minute a 20 seconds long and from season 4 to 20 had a shorter one at 40 secs.

Actually the US theme does not suit at all it sounds very outdated, i'd expect to hear this in the original 80's episodes not a 2009 series unless it was the original.... more like Miami Vice not something sophisticated.

I think the original music goes better with the intro video ..... plus its a diff country of origin why not just keep their music :(
