  • sado!

  • grow up

  • there used to be red ones. where did they go?

  • Nice 390s!

  • has anyone ever been in first class in one of them we went to plymouth and there was no air conditioning in the carriage we were in and it takes nine hours from edinburgh so we got put in first class for two hours for nothing more than we paid

  • They don't go to Plymouth

  • pendelinos are soo cool they have such a cool front.

    They've always fascinated me.

  • i see Pendolinos all the time at manchester stationn

  • I've been on a pendolino too

  • I dont know what is more frightening - that I actually read this comment - or the I am replying to it.

  • its a damn lush train

  • Is there a main engine directly behind the driving cab, or is some sort of storage space like a DVT?

  • AFAIK, the pendolinos have their engines under the carriages.

  • It is storage for the food carts and other things that you may need on a journey.

  • Bet these trains would perform better than Acela on the Northeast Corridor here in the U.S.

  • amen...shoulda been called the DeCela

  • Not Really. They are everyday trains now. You see them everywhere on a main line.

  • Great looking trains nonetheless!

  • What's this I read about these trains having a toilet-stink problem?

  • That's the Voyager

  • Wrong. It's Pendolino. Voyager are more diesel look-a-like engines.

  • Nope class 390 is the pendolino. Its an EMU. The Voyager or SuperVoyager is a DMU and has buffers at the front and a louder engine. The class 390 is also much longer: 9 cars altogether.

  • Only if someone shits in them then it blocks the toilets. The toilet holes are not big enough.

  • birmingham new street

  • Can anyone tell me why British trains use only one headlight? I notice most trains only have the right headlight on whole moving.

  • They are used as Markers for on track workers One Bright (right) and a little led bundle on the left. and for Night its a Bright light on the left to iluminate track signs and for rail track workers and a little led bundle on the right

  • Thanks for sharing! thanks to you Ican see these trains that I migh otherwise never see! A+

  • Ok. They developed the variable inclination system for nothing...

  • The Pendolino is the only train tha can go very fast on old lines, because it works as a motorbike in the turns..

  • PMSL! Wrong mate! Pendos go as fast as HSTs, 91s (225s) and any other train that can reach 125mph. I wouldn't say this was the best video as it is just pendos!

  • Pendolinos are the fastest trains on the UK Network (with the exception of the Anglo-French Eurostar)

  • Nope HSts are faster by 9mph.

  • The class 221 can do this too...

  • The Pendolino is the most rubbish, badly built train in Europe

  • HOW DARE YOU

  • To be fair this video is the very best thing on the internet

  • I been on the virgin pendolino firt class and standard class and it tilt's and euston is my favourite mainline station five stars for vid

  • If you like the tilt, You'll love the tilt test they do. It will make you walk as if you were pissed and if it's violent enough, It's makes you want to puke. :-D
