What are the barrel mods that ou do? It looks like you have 3 Barret style muzzle brakes as your exposed barrel. Which is totally baddass mind you...

@jacobninja25 they are not fully emptying the gun before the mag change. There is a shell in the chamber still so the bolt doesn't need to be held open or closed after inserting the new mag.

@accouswk with my saiga 12 i cant fit a mag in unless the bolt is open :/ i was wondering if these guys have some sort of mod. i really wish i could insert a mag with out bringing the bolt back and hitting the BHO. the shell in the mag prevents me from inserting it :/

They have magwells installed on their guns. Alot depends on the mag as well. On my 10 round ones i can insert it no problem with the bolt closed but not on my 20 round drums. If you leave one less shell in the mag then if you "rock and lock" it into place it should work fine.

potentially stupid question ahead....if say I wanted to switch to slugs... can I pull the bolt back, remove the shell that is in the chamber and handload a slug like a pump action?

Said it before & I will say it again, you guys are light years ahead of any body doing SAIGA mods. Please Please- just go ahead and build your own 12 ga AK auto. You will OWN the market. All CNC components, machined mag well, Muzzle brake w/ long choke tubes, integral full length rail,ambi safety like Galil , M249 pistol grip, side folding stock mechanism or fixed MagPul style. Power adj trigger group. Sorry - just dreaming out loud...
