@garulia17 well i dont know about your view so I will state mine but I am not being monistic since I do wish to be broad minded :) but I feel that logic for living things stems from 1 primary goal: preservation of the species, every other action is the outcome of this singular goal, now it can be argued that self preservation is the key goal but individuals will sacrifice themselves for the collective good often so I personally feel the general good trumps personal pleasure for MOST people
@SalehaJaw this then is tempered with the next analysis weighing in proportionality of an action again calibrated with the primary purpose in mind which is collective good. Hence personal pleasure if not harmful to others (keeping in mind the preservation of species) then it becomes a good ... 99 percent of the laws of God (as existing in Scriptures) stick to these ideals so I guess He becomes logical too. the 1 percent ... well He deserves the benefit of doubt with those odds

Look up the ndaa :P Though, I agree with most biblical "laws" people follow, which are generally good. Though the old testament is more of a horror story than anything, so I can't put much store by it. Like I've said before, my morals and thoughts and ideas come from within and not without.
@garulia17 well my idea on that is if 1 believes in God He must be Supreme Logic, humans in comparison don't have omniscience so we do the best we can and learn from experience, which is why our laws keep changing. I personally havnt read the Old Testament but if its like the Quran most of the horror centers around only ONE law, which is that there is only ONE God (Whose Form is not perceivable) well once you get into theoretical physics and advanced math that's the only God that makes sense :)

@garulia17 sure quran doesnt discourage slavery for a very functional reason (but it doesnt encourage it either) it acknowledges the institution by reference though and by giving rights to slaves especially slave women in fact the Prophet and his friends used to buy slaves (from idolaters) on a weekly basis just to free them if the quran outlawed slavery they would never have been able to help those slaves out you see that's where omniscience comes in but ofcourse saudis today misuse that

Okay fair enough but, if thats the case then why does science always come up with something new? Why do they tend to fail in majority of their "tests" and their new "creations?" @garulia17 well my idea on that is if 1 believes in God He must be Supreme Logic, humans in comparison don't have omniscience so we do the best we can and learn from experience, which is why our laws keep changing. I personally havnt read the Old Testament but if its like the Quran most of the horror centers around only ONE law, which is that there is only ONE God (Whose Form is not perceivable) well once you get into theoretical physics and advanced math that's the only God that makes sense :)

@garulia17 sure quran doesnt discourage slavery for a very functional reason (but it doesnt encourage it either) it acknowledges the institution by reference though and by giving rights to slaves especially slave women in fact the Prophet and his friends used to buy slaves (from idolaters) on a weekly basis just to free them if the quran outlawed slavery they would never have been able to help those slaves out you see that's where omniscience comes in but ofcourse saudis today misuse that

None of Biblical, Islamic, Buddhist Mythology ever has a Scientific Backing or Scientifically accepted notions behind it. But if Mecca is the Center you can take any point of the same Latitude and it would have Equal distance to the poles. So pretty much All this video says is Mecca is on the exact line of latitude that is equal distance from both the north and south pole. The same place on the opposite side of the world really at any point is the Center as well...
