Ok so that thing didn't even use it's tentacles to try and grab the guy. Oh hey that reminds me we just saw those thing's go through a fence that the monster was in on the other side and it tried to constrict him and then he damaged it by using that saw but still come on that thing got to be allot stronger then that. Last thing to note is the monster moving by slithering? I know that thing doesn't have legs and I know it has a tail with the tentacles at the end but I didn't see any legs.

Don't take few breath while going up. If you go to the surface to fast, your lungs will be damaged if you breath to low air under 20 meters.

Now, as much as I can appreciate the dramatic fact that we are more scared by what we don't see, am I insane for wishing for a couple more movies like "The Host" where we see the monster right away in broad daylight? The species creature was mainly about sexual reproduction and how many men she could breed. Predator would probably be the most advanced monster of all the creature movies.

No, the designers wanted to depict a normal seal level pressure environment. 1 atmos=14.7psi. In James Cameron's The Abyss, the crew were pressurised at depth equal to 12,000 feet (or whatever it was supposed to be...) However the compression and decompression process would make for a long film.
