  • I jerk off to this song

  • HERMOSA VERSION!!!

  • I have seen them do this in concert...they are GREAT!!!! I absolutely LOVE John Oates's voice...he has a special tone in his voice that always has made their songs stand out above any other group! Hall & Oates will always be up there with all the other great bands!!!!

  • 13 people have lost that loving feeling.....

  • 懐かしい!いつ聴いてもちょうど良いリズム!!

    그립다!언제 들어도 딱좋은 리듬!!

  • John Oates's velvety lyrics paired with Daryl Hall's angsty yet powerful vocals certainly bring this classic to life in a different way that evokes so much more dimension. Those two are master artisans of this trade. Wonderful!

  • fantastic song!

  • La mejor version de esta cancion es la de Johnny Rivers

  • A Classic Song performed by a classic band! I listen to this version everytime I go upstate riding. Love it!

  • Awesome version...those of you who hate it, lack in good taste in music!!

  • This version is REALLY great, but I think the most awesome version of this song is the one by The Sangin' Cowboys.

  • when was this recorded ? thanks for the answer

  • Comment removed

  • when was this recording? thanlks

  • 13 people didn't bring back that lovin' feeling

  • @SonicTheFaggot SHUT THE FUCK UP YOU UGLY DEPRESSIVE MOTHERFUCKING ASSHOLE!

  • This always makes me smile, thank you TOP GUN, Tom Cruise & Anthony Edwards

  • extraordinary version

  • the guitarist at the end lookes\d like william defoe

  • adoro esta musica. fantático, obrigado

  • love this song! thanks for uploading this :-) appreciated!!!

  • is it me or does GE Smith look like Anthony Michael Hall (when he bulked up (like in Edward Scissor Hands)?

  • I want this song I'm listening to right now on my ipod touch! LIVE!

  • Nothing rocks my music world more than listening to old-school Daryl Hall...

  • watch me too I loved this video.

    loveofmylife/jeffsinger

  • These guys can take any song and do it more than justice.

It takes bottle to attempt a classic like this but they pull it off......as usual...... Class

  • i so love this song and of course hall and oates

  • This song is fantastic. I like it better than the original. I love the original don't get me wrong, but the harmony of hall and oates voices is just wonderful. And any group that can sing a song live and sound just as fantastic as they do recorded are REAL singers not this crap they got out today!!

  • GREAT VERSION

  • Daryl Hall - one of the most beautiful men I've ever seen. And a fabulous voice.

  • that fags got probly got more pussy than youll ever dream of getting

  • Notwithstanding the fact that it's a cover, this song still takes a spot in my all-time fave list. Hall and Oates is one hell of a kind...legendary.

  • bring back that loving feelin

  • Excellent cover!!... great song... much better live!!

  • Mickey Curry on drums -- the best back beat in rock. Max Weinberg, Kenny Aronoff ain't bad either.

  • Yeah, him and T-Bone Wolk worked well together.

  • He stole that girl's whatever it was! And then he threw it away! ^_^

  • saturday is birthday to DARYL! HAPPY 62 DARYL!!!

  • Brilliant cover by Hall & Oates.

  • this bands so metal!

  • Funix66 thanks for posting this. Do you have all of Rock 'n' Soul Live to post? I can't find a Region copy of it anywhere.

  • no, no sir I don't llike it

  • I don't want to be a hater here, but there is simply no comparison to the Righteous Brothers on this song. This version sounds like some high school band taken taken through a blender and thrown into the crapper compared to the original. Covering a song and putting your own twist on it is nothing new, but at least make it worth listening to. This is an embarrassment to H&O if you ask me.

  • well nobody asked you.

  • lmao, hats off to ya!!

  • @tcgtpl It's not meant to copy the Righteous Brothers. They did this in 1980. It has that late 70's early 80's sound. That's what they meant to do. I think it's incredible. They did this song in a totally different genre than it was made famous in.

  • philip ela...i always remember you

  • Cool!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Preciosisima

  • Essa musica é simplesmente linda...

  • I like the version that Tom Cruise sings.

  • sucks

  • Michael Johns, sing this next week!!!!!!!!

Come on TPTB let him do it for Dolly week!

  • awsome

  • What ever happened to these guys? They kicked a lot of ass back in the early 80's...it was impossible to listen to the radio without hearing one of their songs every 15 minutes.

  • A very nice version of that beautiful tune! I like it a lot. The original version is great, too. At my opinion Elvis' version is still the BEST!

  • Hello, sorry but the best version of this song is from Tom Jones, and I can't find it...

I used to have in an old Tom Jone's long play that it's been lost.

  • I haven't heard those versions. I've heard some ones and I like the most the studio version from Hall & Oates. At last someone posted it some months ago, but it's been deleted.

I don't understand Youtube's bosses. You can find here some videos posted 500 times, but when you find a rare video it doesn't last long

  • Yes I agree..... happens always

  • Hello, I agree about the rare videos erased,...

Try to find that from Tom Jones was in a long play album dated in 1997/8 the album's title was "TOM". Edited by "PYT"

    Regards

    ERS

  • the original rightous brothers version is the best. captures the song how its supposed to be sung!

  • I saw the Righteous Brothers perform this live and they were awesome; but I love to watch everything Daryl Hall sings!

  • When you watched Righteous Brothers? excuse me.

  • Your excused.

  • woohh... what a honor... that was long time ago...how long was that?

  • The same time this video was shot for H&O. It was an honor to see a great duo like the Righteous Brothers sing. I've always been a big fan of all types of music and enjoy going to live concerts. Last Monday I saw Matchbox Twenty with Alanis Morrisette. Tonight, the Spice Girls. Many fans your age like Led Zeppelin. I was there for their first concerts. Don't forget, alot of music, like fashion comes around again from the past, so don't think "a long time ago" is that far off.

  • great

  • I'm not sure The Righteous Brothers are the ones who sing this best. The boys in red at the City Ground don't half give a good rendition themselves.

I remember a game a few years back when it seemed like all 25,000 of the crowd were belowing it out in perfect tune and harmony. Beautiful times.

  • I've always preferred the Long John Baldry & Kathi McDonald cover of this song. Pity I haven't been able to find a video clip of it.

  • such a shame slaughtered a classic only two to do this song justice THE RIGHTEOUS BROTHERS

  • top gun memories

  • It's now Oct. 11, 2007, HAPPY 61st BIRTHDAY DARYL!!!

  • this two killed a wonderful classic.the righteous brothers are the best ones singing this song.

  • Respects for this guys, they sing it pretty well, but no one does it with such a powerful preformance than Elvis

  • Elvis Presley did a damn good version in 1970 as well. There all good just different

  • No doubt about this one, this is the best cover song. Even better than the original one. Sorry Righteous Bros.

  • just one word: dreamteam :>

  • how can you say that they are the best singers of this song? I like Hall and Oates myself, but you gotta be all over their cocks to think that this is better than the Righteous brothers.

  • Los Bros (Bill Medley and Bobby Hatfield) did the definitive version of this song, but Hall and Oates' take (especially on "Voices") did justice both to them and the original performers. It's like seeing Pierce Brosnan or Daniel Craig play 007 - a rock-solid performer doing right by the tradition of the all-time best (Sean Connery).

  • I guess it's a personal taste on this song.

Funny you should mention 007, because I'm in the miniscule minority (and I'm fine with that) who never liked Connery as Bond. I always wanted him to get killed off in his movies, and got ticked whenever he got away. My favorite is Timothy Dalton and Daniel Craig is a close second. (I also didn't like Brosnan. All I could think of was Mrs. Doubtfire.)

Well, that's a huge tangent from what this string is supposed to be about, so I'll end it.

  • Yeah, timothy dalton rocked!

  • HELL YEA HE DID!!!

  • everytime i hear this, i always think of Top Gun when Maverick and Goose sing it...poor goose...

  • i just love how these two (daryl and johN) work so well together!

  • Easily the best singers of this song. They sing it better than anyone else.

  • Ummm.................NO.

  • such a K.A. version!
