  • R.I.P

  • Love the negs about the XLT coming from ppl that have either never owned one or do not have the brain capacity to learn how to control it.

For starters, the recovery speed IS ADJUSTABLE. with the press of a key you can have recovery speed adjusted to your liking. Thats the beauty of the XLT, you can customise it to how YOU want it. I have owned mine for over 10yrs, its paid for itself many times over. LEARN TO USE IT and you will be surprised what it can do.

  • @skullmonk3y The whole idea of these videos was to demonstrate the DIFFERENCE between different detectors, there is no doubt you can adjust recovery speed but at the end of the day some machines are faster than others despite what you adjust.

  • Recovery not too impressive.

  • knowing the recovery speed makes me glad. I did not buy one.!

  • This guy seems so friendly. I love watching his videos. He is very informative.

  • I know this is an old video, but just wanted to say this is a brilliant machine, although it does take some getting used to. But that is why I like it, I can adjust it to be very sensitive and still tell me if something is iron. It will find very small celtic coins if set up right.

  • everyone out there just save ya cash and get the garret ace 250 cant go wrong

  • Worse recovery speed than the Minelab Sovereign? Whites may be slow machines in general, but they aren't THAT slow. The Sovereign has a ton of redeeming features to make up for its lack of speed... the Whites does not. Oh, unless you want to scroll through a million menu items and make 1000 adjustments per site.

  • I don't understand the recovery speed? Someone please explain? clearly??? Thank You

  • @cycloneCJproducts Hi,Your recovery speed on the xlt,Means, you can set the detector to the recovery set it slow and sweep slow, set it fast you can sweep your detector Quicker simple, regards,Spookmore

  • @cycloneCJproducts Just remember The XLT can be set to pick up coins and Relics,At a slower or faster speed, regards,Spookmore

  • hi if i just want to nugget shoot in california and colorado, and look for meteorites in nevada, what detector should i get?thanks

  • Put the machine into relic put the recovery speed on 23 and try your recovery speed test again, you seem to get each object about a foot apart on your test in the coins program but this does do this legendry machine justice one bit, the coin program is designed for the US not the UK...and misses small silver, recovery speed test used in a custom relic program will pick three objects up three inches apart beep beep beep one after the other,....

  • I'm not being picky, but if you used a custom Relic program for Uk soils, the recovery speed will pick up three signals one after the other within a space of about 8 inches...rather than in your test of two feet......need to set the machine to relic and then try it, it doesn't give a true picture of how good this machine is.......

  • not bad video but if he had run the machine on coins and jewelrey he would have got on much better fantastic machine
