  • wow an irishman should never say in da house

  • That old man never die

  • fergie is sure trying to keep her distance from mick wonder what's up

  • Yes Fergie does do a very good job here,a hell of a lot better than that video of her on youtube when she did that half time show with Slash!

  • mic jagger have never been any good at singing, if u compare them to the better vocalists (bono f.eks)

but there is one thing ! HE IS FREAKIN GOOD AT SELLING IT ;)

  • jagger you are god.

  • MAROON 5? BAH MICK JAGGER RULES.

  • WHY YA DID THIS MICK? :(

  • Mick Jagger is a fucking boss.

  • dressagegirl04: I disagree. Fergie should slip away from the hip-hop & go rock instead. She has a kick-ass voice & she should use it. Three generations of talent on one stage... This is f**king great!

  • i thought this song was called its just a shot away?

  • Fergie very nice! I Loved it!

  • What exactly was Will.i.am doing? Just sitting behind the controls? What a publicity stunt. Otherwise, really good performance, even though I hate Fergie.

  • @higmadon

Superb, thanks for putting this up.

  • bonno was shit in this and should have put more effert in

  • @redmen9110

As you should have also done with your atrocious spelling.

  • guess who's 68 and still rocks?

  • @paglo1989

Andy Summers or Barry Manilow? You tell me.

  • Cool to see A1 Amazing Artists performing together.

    Charged Combo.

    Fergie- Fabulous Singing Stones Songs.

Fergie Lifts Roof with Her Raunchy Voice.

    Mick- Most 'Mazing Performer.

    U2-Ultimately Best.

    Replay.

    Stones - Legends.

  • I think this is an epic performance by all involved. I never really thought that Fergie was all that talented before, I mean some of her songs were ok, but I didn't get the hype. Now I can see a glimmer of real talent and spark there. Good job Fergie!

  • @TheStilletto A-fucking-men. She should totally screw Black Eyes Peas and do her own thing, as long as it includes guitars and Fergie screaming in high pitched voice.

  • <3<3<3<3<3<3<3

  • Fergie stick to what you are mediocre at...hip hop

  • @dressagegirl04 I think she did great....sick version

  • thats what maroon 5 is talkin about... the moves of the legendary mick jagger

  • Mick wants to spank Fergie

  • @chihawks2010 well, wouldnt you?

  • Pretty Cool version here. Thanks to my Brother for sending me this one.

  • This is one of the best song created on this planet ever! No war more, please!

  • Amazing.

  • I know The Edge. The Edge is a friend of mine. But The Edge ain't no Kieth Richards. Fergie ain't no Lisa Fisher either.

  • They could've done "Paint It Black" since that is a Rolling Stones song also covered by U2.

  • @ClassicTVMan1981X sth new is way cooler, u know?

  • In his book, Keith says he wrote this song while mick was off screwing Keith's girlfriend...

  • has the edge heard this song before?

  • Super Version

  • I've said it before and I'll say it again, Fergie needs to give up this Hip-Hop/Pop crap and take up Rock...she has so much potential to be a Rock Goddess it would be a shame if it went to waste.

  • Mick held hos own just fine

  • I herd Fergie sing barracuda live about twenty feet from where I was standing and all I can say is she fucking belted out that song while doing flips across the stage. Fergie blew me away that day and I have been a fan from that day on. Oh and I have seen Heart 4 times and this woman did it complete justice.

  • Yes it got a painful at the end, Fergie and Mick dont have the chemistry and it sort petered out. Also the jangly U2 guitar kept creeping in, you would think they could have enticed Mick Taylor to perform , that would have been a show! There again, get rid of U2 and bring on Charlie , Keith et al. Despite over doing the theatrics and trying to out do Mick , Fergie did steal the show. " Rape , Murder ..just a shot away" . 40 years on and the lyrics are still scarily prescient.

  • still not as good as with Keith Richards

  • U2 feat Mick?? that makes no sense

  • Wait.. So what is fergie and Will I am doing at the rock and roll hall of fame?

  • I agree w/SirHawkeyeWho - Fergie is a star of rock, not pop.

  • When someone "belts" it from there toes, they show up everyone! Great job Fergie!

  • fergie got moves like jagger :)

  • Bono and The Edge - aint got anything on Richards and Taylor - suckass

fergie is the only one who holds it, Mick looks embarassed - like he's thinking - hey where's me drummer, where's the bass, where's the soul and funk!

  • Oh god. That's just painful. As much as I like U2, they undo the heavy rhythm that makes the original song so powerful, and Fergie's epileptic fit on stage is just...urgh. Just sing, don't act out a pantomime. So many female singers today seem to compensate with volume and adding "OOOH OOOH AAH AAH" for no reason.

  • you can see Mick Jagger mouthing the words!!!! that is something to be proud of!!!!

  • i really enjoyed this song but fergie ruined it [ive never liked her]

  • @anthonyccockrell1 you dont like her-that has nothing to do with her performances ... shes awesome here .. think before typing

  • @BEPAntonis ok thats your opinion i think she ruined the song, that is my opinion, everybody has one, i dont like fergie's voice is annoys me

  • @anthonyccockrell1 ok then shut up and respect her.

  • @BEPAntonis LOL kinda hard to respect somebody who pissed there pants on stage

  • fergie es mi vieja

  • Banshee part in this song is one of the finest moments in all of Rock & Rollingdom ~Z~

  • These guys blew the roof off the place with classic Stones. Too cool.

  • i was waiting for will i am to belt it

  • No one can touch Mick Jagger

  • Bono was blocked by the guitar...LEAVE THE GUITAR AND PLAYS WITH MICK AND FERGIE!!!

  • Whoa, Fergie did a good job...I'm surprised.

  • Why does Fergie point to her head and not her arm when she sings, "It's just a shot away."? Does she need someone to explain the lyrics to her? ;-)

  • In all due respect, Fergie doesn't hold a candle to Lisa Fisher singing this song.

    youtube.com/watch?v=rCrbziy20aU

  • @TracyFClark sounds good to me

  • @TracyFClark next time do a little research before you insert foot in mouth you dumb fuck....I read the backstory in Rolling Stone magazine in which Jagger specifically asked the guys in U2 to play the song using a different arrangement / to make it sound different than just the traditional Stones song...he wanted the song to have a little bit of a Middle Eastern tinge to it...so if you want to blame someone for the way the song sounds why don't you blame Mick Jagger dummy.

  • @wolfennyc if you think this is good music you need to have your hearing checcked. I don't really need to do any "research" to hear that U2 obviously cannoy play the song. It has nothing to do with Mick Jagger...now please keep your profanity and insults to your self.

  • why can't lindsay, britney etc act like fergie? you never hear bad carp about her.

  • i wouldn't be surprised if Josh gave Fergie a free one to Mick.

  • Mick is the rock god!!!! Fabulous rendition -- great job all!!!

  • yo this whole concert is on netflix and it awesome

  • Fergie was awesome. Don't you see? That girl knows how to rock... and well U2 and Mick Jagger excelent as always

  • Fergie took that stage by storm!!! Like some rock and roll siren from the past. Damm!! She gets it, and she nails it BRAVO!!!! Not many women could shine so bright between two of musics greatest front men. Respect.

  • @23firestorm See, what I can't fathom is that when he was recording his last solo album, Slash had Izzy Stradlin and Fergie in the studio... and he didn't think to cover Gimme Shelter. IT WOULD'VE BEEN AWESOME.

  • i think fergie is awsome here... its unfair to say that shes bad ...

  • Still... very exciting to see probably the top 3 concert acts in the country share the stage. But the highlight has to be the moment Jagger walks on stage and belts out "oh a storm is threatening" pure adrenaline!

  • Lol you can tell Bono wants some of what Mick is getting

  • Never been a big fan of the Black Eyed Peas but Fergi owns that song

  • i know she had her problems in the past but you gotta hand it to fergie. she is not a media ho. she behaves. and she is damn hot. and she can sing! i give a whole months pay check to switch sides with josh.

  • Will and Fergie :o <<33

  • Do they have a version of this song on iTunes?

  • @UniversalHeat yep it is

  • more proof mick does not need keith

  • Fergie's voice is totally wasted on pop she should totally be singing more rock songs. This is freaking excellent.

  • I wanna studio version!

  • Fergie have a VERY GOOD VOICE!

  • Ive got moves like jagger.

  • the reason i like this so much is that it brings together the old(and great) generation with the new. personally i prefer the older stuff like the stones and the beatles and the doors

  • Talent is hitting targets others can't hit.

Genius is hitting targets others can't see.

    Thanks for posting genius :-)

  • I was at this show!!! This was an amazing performance live. The HBO version is out of order ,it mixes the two nights together. There is a huge teleprompter with all the words running in the middle of the garden.

  • Anyone notice that Jagger moves his hips better than Fergie?

  • Love the Way Mick and Fergie are jumping around and Bono was just standing there, Cool as you like :)

  • FERGIE Just got hotter!

  • mater vam jebem u picku

  • popusite mi kurac svi redom

  • Fergie and Mick Jagger = awesome

  • fergie looks like she humping the drummer in the beginning ROFL

  • This is best live version of this song I've heard. U2 play it better than the Stones do. Mick is awesome.

  • i'll bet good money that mick did fergie. and josh was cool with it

  • Comment removed

  • Just Magnificent Performance.....

  • Great version. I'll take it.

  • I though fergie sucked before she stole the show from Mick!

  • i thin mick jagger sang those black ops commercials

  • You can see Mick keeps hinting for "love sister" but she does her own thing

  • OMG, Mick makes Bono and the edges seems a simple guitars only. Lol. Fergie bigger feme singer ever.

  • whatagang..)

  • fun!

  • i got shivers and popped a boner at the same time from watching this

  • Brilliant performance all round. Why do people find it necessary to denigrate U2 and/or Fergie in order to show their appreciation for Jagger? That's just kinda childish.

  • @clongownian Needs to be top comment!

  • If Gimme Shelter, Mick Jagger, U2, Fergie and Will.I.Am don't do it for you, I shudder to think about what the rest of your fucked up life is like...

  • Polska też ogląda !

  • @ProducitonGamerVideo OGLĄDA , OGLĄDA ;D

  • Mick a pimp.

  • Fergie iss die Hammerfrau

  • @beckpc Ich liebe Hammerfrau!

  • mick jagger was the only reason I watched this. Thumbs up if u agree

  • friggin awesome , i can watch this hundreds of times , blows me away , good old mick

  • I admit to being lukewarm about U2 and pretty much in the dark about Fergie's career, but Bono's vocals on this suck whereas Fergie absolutely kills her part. Jagger - what can be said - greatest front man in history of rock & roll.

  • moves like jagger

  • So, OK. I speak as a huge fan of this song, but also as someone who (1) doesn't really dig anything done by the Stones post—uh—"Some Girls," (2) doesn't like anything by U2 after "Zooropa," (3) knows almost nothing about Fergie:

Let me just say that THIS IS AWESOME Rock 'n' roll is about a yearning within all of us that is part religion, part sex, and part human solidarity. Fergie not only has a hell of a voice, but she totally understands rock 'n' roll! So do the old-timers here. BRAVO!
